I’m sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision before buying.
I ordered Hawas Ice from Pranav Sharma on 20th July because he specifically promised next-day delivery. That was the only reason I chose to buy from him, as the perfume was meant to be a gift.
However, the parcel wasn’t even booked with the logistics company initially. When I asked for an update on 21st July, I was told that the pickup couldn’t happen because it was raining. Interestingly, right after I questioned the delay, the shipment was finally booked through Shadowfax at 8:13 PM.

The real nightmare started after that.
On 22nd July, the shipment moved in transit, and on 23rd July, it was marked Out for Delivery. Around 9 PM, I received what felt like a formality call from the delivery partner, and within moments the shipment was marked “Customer Not Available”, despite me being available at the delivery address. Since then, the expected delivery date has simply kept getting pushed to the next day over and over again.
Up to this point, I was willing to believe it was purely a logistics issue. Before reaching out to Pranav, I tried every possible channel from my end. I raised tickets with Shadowfax via email, the app, and even Twitter/X support, but to no avail.

On 25th July, I finally reached out to Pranav, explained the entire situation, and requested him to either ship a fresh unit through Blue Dart (as Shadowfax is notorious for this pattern) or simply refund my money. Instead, I was repeatedly asked to “give it some more time.”
Yesterday, after several follow-ups, we finally agreed that if the parcel wasn’t delivered by 2 PM today, he would dispatch a fresh unit via Blue Dart. I waited until the agreed time and followed up again today, only to be met with another round of excuses about the rain and that he was “trying.” At that point, it genuinely felt like every resolution came with a new reason to delay it instead of actually solving the problem.

I had purchased this perfume as a gift, and because of these delays, that purpose is completely ruined.
Fast forward to today, the product is still not in my hands. Pranav has now informed me that he has marked the shipment as RTO (Return to Origin) and says he will process the refund within 24-48 hours, but only after he receives confirmation from the courier company. I genuinely hope the refund comes through, but I still fail to understand why, after all these days, a replacement couldn’t have been shipped or the issue proactively resolved. Instead, I’ve had to chase both the courier and the seller at every single step.
My advice to everyone in the community: Don’t risk your money just to save ₹50-100. That tiny saving isn’t worth weeks of frustration, ruined plans, endless follow-ups, and constantly being given new assurances that never seem to materialize. Reliability and accountability are worth far more than a small discount.
