So I recently decide to update my mega raichu x team and this what I came up and it so much better 😂

Both auroras and heat proof sinestcha though unconventional has work amazing for this team

I just went on 9 game win streak though it definitely could have been 10 or more I just got unlucky with a burn because I let eruption torkal sit on the field to long

That said I could use some help

Anybody got a bulky Basculegion stat

Basculegion is usually my late game closer so I was thinking about dropping off some of its attack cause last respect is so stronk

But I don’t know by how much is the question

I still want it to be a menace but it be nice if it could live some hits

Any help is appreciated and would love to hear people thoughts on the team I cooked up

It very fun but a little hard to pilot but when it goes it goes!

Without power herb or electric seed mega raichu x was so hard to make work I’ve probably spent well over 30k points but it’s insanely fun

And taught me a lot about team building and competitive play in general!

It’s very different from my normal teams in a good way!

And while I am using standard pokemon I’m using a few unorthodox method

Speedy soak rising voltage is to fun 😁

This team took so much cooking and well over 30k points! But I think I cooked up something quite good!

Like without the power herb or eletric seed it was so hard to make this work 😅.

With that said I feel like I got something quite good that maximum raichu x play style right now!

Building team actually taught me a lot about team building and it’s a team that very different from my normal ones but still in my style
Speed soak Basculegion and raichu x are demon mode together

My only grip for the team is that I couldn’t get shiny meowscarada and Basculegion 😅

And a fun thing I learn for this team as a newbie team builder is understanding the team and the power of unconventional moves characteristics which may sound obvious but it wasn’t to me! 😁

That said I do want help on something

The last addition meowscarada is basically here to help with ground types and swampart match up

Which does beautifully

Meowscarada basically helps complete the team however

I’m actually considering is switch it for meowscarada since there are a few matches where raichu can’t be brought and having strong steel type damage is a plus

But I worried that if I drop meow my swampart match up become much harder! And I know I can just mega evolve metagross though I don’t know the calculations for tough claws boost ice punch to swampart

But I’m way more likely to use raichu x than metagross since that how this team plays

So I’m worried if I’m get out position regular metagross can’t beat swampart

However my team itself it self is quite squishy so it can’t go for a long game and having psychic fangs would be plus to prevent screen tricks

Any thoughts on this situation? And metagross players how is your match up into swampart both mega and non mega metagross?

So after a few days of work I think I landed on a pretty good team!

Everything synergize well with each other and the partner are pretty interchangeable

And raichu and staraptor feel really strong together since they can be brought both in and out of mega form in one game and there ability intimidate and light rod can help the other one

And cerludedge works really well with the 2

Though there are a few weaknesses I’m still working on and the biggest one is that the curse cheese string! 😂 ghlodengo blows up this team

The only one on this team who can beat is Cerluedge!

But the obvious shadow ball still makes a problem

That why I’m using the ghost resist berry

But than put me weak to sucker punch which doesn’t feel great
Dark type is not a big of a threat as it was last format as of right now is what I’ve noticed though still not great

But What are the stats people running for there gholdengo?

I’m trying to debate if I want to out speed it our bulk out my Celuredge

I thought about dropping celuredge but having a bulk out Mon be slow didn’t feel the greatest when I tried it

But I don’t know if I’m out speeding anything with my current speed?

Any Cerluedge player can help me?

So ultimately the new season really didn’t shake things up that much charizard y and floette are still top tier/broken

But they add just enough that the charizard and floette got sweat now cause holy crap raichu x and y are monster

But mega staraptor is a freaking demon

Though with it eyes it make sense

I’ve been playing with this thing all day and so fun! 😂

Though this team is just a rough and not my final team

It too much fun not to share

Some fun combo I found are
Gale wings feather dance is disgusting

And wyrdeer skill swap is very tricky and annoying for both sides but very goood too 😂

A good core I found that not on this team is staraptor grimmsnarl and surprisingly Cerluedge since they
Can scale very quickly and be difficult to remove one of them and by the time one of them dies or joins the other usually got buff as heck or cause havoc for my opponent it be impossible to deal with a another threat 😂

This bird is sooo good!

That said again this team is very rough so I’m think about some changes

Since this team depends way to heavy on staraptor

But wanted to share this team and some fun combo I’ve thought up!😁

So i recently caught a shiny chespin and decided to make another Chesnaught team though this time i decide to pair mega Chesnaught with mega chandlure with each other

Since with flash fire it rivals defensively mega delphox and mega Chesnaught

So I decided to give the standard iron defense body press set a try since I didn’t do that last time and went with feint mega chesnaught

And I think that mega chesnaught can already do pretty good damage with body press even without the boost

But iron defense is incredibly satisfying how powerful it gets and very fun

Jumping from a soild damage dealer

To a pretty respectable threat

But I do understand what wolfey meant in his video about how you don’t really want be setting up in trick room even more so with mega chesnaught and how many weakness it has.

But orangaru takes mega chesnaught and takes it from a pretty respectable threat to holy cow this is a monster and I love it 🥰

Cause it quite possible to get to plus 4 defense in one turn

Plus 4 mega Chesnaught can practically one shot anything and every thing that doesn’t have high bulk or doesn’t resist it

And be unkillable on the physical side!

And even if it does it still does crazy damage!

Instruct also make +4 body press to a insane spread move

The only down side it takes 3 turns but that damage is more than worth it

And even with out the boost! Instruct still make body press does really good damage cause it hit twice!

So I decide to built this team that can use and abused instruct!

Blastoise chandlure and krookdile all takes advantage of instruct

And generally everything has so amazing synergy!

I really love this team it so much fun despite how crazy it get!

With all that said I would like a second opinion a big issue for this team is taunt/encore

So I was considering dropping calm mind for trick room since while normal you would just run mental herb but generally the bulk healing of sitrus is usually more worth it

That why I was thinking of switch chandlure to trick room so less pressure is on orangaru for that mode

But I still would like an answer/solution if anyone has any idea would love to hear it!

The other issue is speical damage

While light screen does help with that a ton it kinda goes back to the first issue of one taunt on orangaru and its gg

So I was considering running either another light screen user

The ones I’m considering are either scizor kleavor ori auroa veil ninetailes

Or maybe adding wonder room since it would be a helpful buff to me for chesnaught

And can screw with my opponents

Though it would have to be fast the options I was thinking of either sableye /ninetails “though I’m worried I’m dropping too much offence since the only one I’d be able to drop is kroodile”

Or Gengar

But I can’t really run focus sash but would have to run something like choice scarf which feels 🤷‍♂️ with how frail Gengar is

Mega Gengar is a option but I would have to shift around a lot if I do that 😅
Or starmie

But I would probably need to drop Blastoise and grab a new fake out user

Would love for some thoughts on these 2 subject

So this team I’ve built a wild ago I really like the synergy between Delphox and Chesnaught actually synergize pretty well and Chesnaught is way better than people give it credit for

But I kinda need help with

The issue comes with gyardos

I really like using it with helping hand feels very strong and good and I probably will use the set on a future team

but on this team I’m not sure about any more its kinda overlapping with chesnaught

As a bulky consistent damage dealer since with helping hand that’s what it feels like

The problem is if Delphox or garchomp ever go down it’s kinda like now what

I know I should probably give it dragon dance but it ends up overlapping with Delphox a bit and doesn’t actually help the issue cause I’m trading one setup move for another

Any suggestion

I’m looking for something that can hit both psychic and fairy types

And if it has water type damage that would be a big plus!

Oh and generally fast but if middle speed that’s fine too

I realize this really specific but can’t be help

Man I really wish I had terra blast 😅

This is my first team I’ve built and used for learning competitive and pretty proud of how I’ve built it!

Though realistically it just psy spam and snow pretty proud how it feel pretty soild team! This team was also team that got me to master 😁

Also flail mega feraligator is quite good if position right!

Love to hear what people think or any advice if you see a way to make it better!
