I’ve been kind of pumped for this 116718 build for quite some time and when one of the better heavy gmt model came out, I thought I’d try to dabble in making this happens. Finally excited to show off where we landed. As always critique and feedback is always welcomed but please be friendly.

I’ve been working with an individual on the east coast for the last 3-6 months trying to perfect the plating color of all the Rolex precious metals. This post is strictly on the RoseGold as I’d say that’s been the most challenging. The gen examples we’ve used, have been very different case by case. The colors are not consistent in gen especially if they’ve had time to oxidize. I’d say we got them pretty dialed in but would love the feedback of others in the hobby! Do we need more platinum? More pink?

The pics I’m posting is comparing stock RGF plating to the new RG plating color. Stock RGF is some lighting is really close/good and in some angles very coppery. This plating removes that hideous copper tones. Would love the communities feedback. Yellow Gold and White Gold examples to soon follow! I’m getting some watches done by him and would love some feedback.

Similar to most of my builds, this just doesn't get enough wear time and I would like to free up some space and get some funds for some new builds I am working on.

Up for sale is my highly modded 5711 thats been rose gold plated and majority of the parts upgraded. I've had this for a little over 2 years and have worn it a handful of times. I paid too much for it at that time but I still think it is holding some value due to the mods it has. There was slight blemishes on the bezel that you can tell in the pics but everything is in pretty good condition.

The condition is overall very very good. There are minimal signs of wear—my items are kept in excellent condition. However, please note that this is not a brand-new watch, so minor hairline marks will be present.

Hard to choose only one at any given time… and yes I love Rose Gold!

Bought 2022 A8L with 36k miles around December. Nearing 40k miles now. FYI, I have factory warranty for 2 more months. Would love some insights on what I should focus on immediately based on what I want vs what it needs.

It’s due for 40k service, what does that entail besides oil change?

What other maintenance stuff should I be exploring or can these wait until I have more miles on the car? I’m a very handy person and also used to tuning cars but this is my first high tech Euro car. If there’s anything I can do myself without a bunch of specialized tools, I’d love to know that. (YouTube doesn’t have many DIY for this car).
