A. 1-2 minuuttia
B. 3-5 minuuttia
C. 6-10 minuuttia
D. yli 10 minuuttia

Tasauslaskut VTS:llä

Asun VTS:n kämpässä, jossa on 20 euron vesimaksu kuussa.

Everything revolves around Ricky's character

This is consistent in all his projects, but it's painfully obvious in Alley Cats.

There are two very brief scenes where Ponce (Tom Basden) and Olive (Diane Morgan) talk to each other. Maybe a minute each. Other than that, "Gus" is on screen the whole time.

He's the leader of the pack, because of course he is. He's the only one who has any growth. He cusses and tells everyone to fuck off, but there are plenty of scenes where he's suddenly vulnerable and sweet. We're even spoonfed - from Ponce's mouth - that he's a good guy really. Not unlike After Life, where Tony cusses everyone out but then shows emotion, and we're supposed to be sad all of a sudden.

He gets a love interest and no one else does. His mom dies. He saves the day and helps the kitten find her home. Everything revolves around him. If he was better written and acted, maybe that would work out, but he's not and it doesn't. It just comes across as self-indulgent.

"Is X worth watching?" threads

These have just blown up lately in every TV and movie sub. I see several every day.

"Hey everyone says Breaking Bad is good, but is it worth watching? Should I try it?"

The main issue is that these threads almost never include any information about the OP and their taste in TV shows. If your favorite shows are Downton Abbey and Anne with an E, then you probably won't enjoy Breaking Bad. But you need to at least tell people that.

No show is worth watching for every single person in the world. With streaming platforms, it's very easy to quit after 15 minutes and go watch something else. Why externalize the decision to random people on Reddit? You might miss out on a show you would have loved, just because 20 out of 30 randos in a thread said it's not that good.

I have started to wonder if these bosts are AI karma farming, because the show in question is usually very popular/acclaimed. People are sure to comment that yes, you should watch Breaking Bad/The Sopranos/The Wire. Easy way to drum up clicks.

When was the last time Ricky collaborated with someone or performed in a work written by someone else?

I just got to thinking, since he's making his own special instead of joining a BBC reunion of "The Office".
He's very prolific at writing stuff and playing the starring role, even when it doesn't fit him at all (Derek).

I know he appeared on Louis CK's show and had a brief cameo in Bojack Horseman. Has he done any other guest roles or worked with co-writers? Or is it just him writing roles for himself and his circle of friends?

How many times do you think they'll say "we're cats" on the show?

Because they already said it 5 times in the TRAILER.
We get it, they're cats, the show is called "Alley Cats", they look like cats and do cat things.

I bet this show will have some of the same insights into the human psyche as "Afterlife", only with cat things thrown in. There will be a dim-witted religious cat, a cat who identifies as a dog - or vice versa, a dog trying to join the pack because he thinks he's a cat - and I see we've got fat cats, as well as fat kids.

This is brilliant, fact.

Postimerkkien arvo

Feeling bad for W once again

Colleen posted a vlog where she's doing arts and crafts with the twins. For once she is involving them, instead of building something and just handing it to them. She's still filming them of course.

Firstly, W gets a slide for toy cars. It's cute and fun, it looks like he loves it. But it's very small. It's not a full car track, just a small slide about the length of his body.

The rest of the video shows Colleen building a very elaborate ice cream stand with M only. It's huge and takes a lot of work, and she shows how they're working together, without W in sight.

Honestly I'm surprised she did anything at all for/with W, but he deserves the same amount of time and love as the other kids, and once again he got a much smaller thing. Colleen also did not show ANY of the building process, so we don't know how long it took and how involved W was in it. Colleen has all the time in the world, she could have spent hours building a really big car track, or whatever W wanted. Or both twins could have been involved with the ice cream stand. I would have been crushed as a child if my brothers got such a big project and I only got a small thing.

I bet Colleen has never sat down and asked herself: am I treating my children equally? She also just took F on a trip and left the twins home, AGAIN. She needs to consider how she would feelt if she was W. But she might not have enough empathy for that.

Colleen being a narcissist mom in her new vlog

in her new vlog, "I Almost Gave Up On Everything", Colleen really cranks up the narcissism while talking about her kids.

She says when F was a part of Miranda shows, he was too young to remember it. She actually says she wants F to form "core memories" of his mom performing on stage. She was excited for F to see her show, and F had so much fun, and he was singing all the songs. (including songs about how he's "cockblocking" his parents? He's too young to understand any of this.)

She always imagined that when she has kids, they would be touring with her, and they would see her as a performer, comedian, "the weird creative person that I am." It's really hard for her that her kids haven't seen her tour. She briefly claims she wants her kids to see this "to know they can do it", but then she goes back to talking about herself. She had fears that F wouldn't like the show or wouldn't like her to be a performer, because she doesn't know if she could do it in that case. But F was so proud of her and kept telling he was proud of her and hugging her. (He knows she needed it, she's been using him to comfort her ever since he was a toddler.)

"I didn't want them to look back on this time and know their mom used to be a performer and then she stopped and never tried again. And it's something that she loved so much and it was her life and her passion, and she just quit."

She really talks about her kids like they're just her personal cheerleaders, they exist to admire and root for her. As if she would ever let them forget that she was a performer and how that meant everything to her.

I've genuinely never met a person like this. Every sentence out of her mouth is I, I, me, me, I'm so proud of myself, I want my kids to be proud of me. Not a word about her being proud of her kids and celebrating their achievements. I'm not sure if she's ever done that.

Let's not forget: when the twins were in the NICU, she announced a tour starting in a few months. Erik was shocked to hear it, because she announced it on the podcast. They didn't even have a conversation about it. She didn't know if the twins would even make it home, and how long it would take. Her priority was touring, If she gets her comeback, god forbid, she will not spend much time with her kids anymore. That's not the life she watns. It's "healing" to be on stage, as if it makes her sick to be the wife and mom she currently is, and not the Star she thinks she was.

Those kids will have a lot of core memories of being ignored. The twins will have core memories of being left home when F gets to travel with mommy and daddy. They will remember mommy spending time alone in her room and the nanny taking care of them. When they think back on Colleen's "career", I doubt they will be proud... especially once they're old enough to understand the song lyrics.

Colleen loves art, music, and poetry...

In the latest vlog, Colleen plays a clip from a song by "audreyandnathan". It's a cute song about loving their daughter. Colleen tears up and says their songs express things Colleen herself can't express. That's why she loves art, music, and poetry, because they can put words to feelings that are difficult to explain.

So why is her own contribution "kids better stop cock blocking" and "you wipe that greasy poo"? Has she ever actually written a beautiful song about loving her kids?

I don't think Colleen has ever written a single beautiful thing. She always has to bring in poop, sex, or both. "Haters Back Off!" had a handful of heartfelt moments, but they were scattered among crappy humor and Colleen's awful acting.

I can imagine her brain is a pretty dirty, angry place, and the things she produces reflect that. But if someone has links to her singing something heartfelt, I'd be curius to hear those songs.

Vlog: "DAY IN THE LIFE ON TOUR! Snakes, Farts, & Waterfalls!" (recap)

I thought I would recap this vlog, since I watched it out of curiosity. But alas, not a single clip of her actual shows.

First, Colleen vlogs on the plane. She's not prepared for her show, it's been "a very overwhelming couple of weeks". (What?? She had months to prepare!) She's nervous and excited. "We're here, she's queer." (points at Rachel)

A segment she filmed at home. F shows off his snake crawling on various spots, scoring how much the snake likes them. One spot is a potty full of toilet paper. Colleen asks if the potty is clean or dirty. It's clean. (I bet Colleen picked the potty specifically.) This could be cute, but you can tell how much of it is orchestrated by Colleen. F keeps looking at her for validation. She also added music and edits that made it feel less spontaneous and cute. I think she's trying to launch F as a content creator.

Back on tour, Colleen shows off their B&B, complete with a karaoke wall and Dolly Parton related illustrations. (I wonder what Dolly would think of Colleen.) Colleen says she's working on the props the DAY BEFORE the concert, when again she had months to prepare. I get that they're moving and things have been hectic, but it's just so last minute. I would be embarrassed to admit this lack of preparation. She doesn't actually show any props, or show herself working on them.

Then for the worst clip, which is almost two minutes of detailed talk about farts. Colleen and Rachel discuss how their farts are different, act out what the farts seem to be saying, etc. I can imagine my 5- and 3-year-old nephews having this exact conversation, but two grown women in their 30s? It's a bit odd tbh. Not surprising, but odd.

A one-minute montage from soundcheck, with music playing over it, so you can't even hear clips of her actual songs. The fart section was longer and more detailed. There's not a single moment from the show itself, which is frankly weird. I wonder what she's hiding. Maybe it's the half empty venue or the fact that she got heckled. Or maybe it's because she sang "Toxic Gossip Train". She doesn't want to give haters ammo, I guess, after we tore her sex song to shreds. But if I were one of her fans and couldn't make it to the show, I would be really bummed that she shows us absolutely nothing. You would think her fans are more interested in her show than her farts.

They went to a guided tour inside a cave, which actually looks very cool with colorful lights and a waterfall. I must admit I liked this bit. But I do think she could have done a voiceover, instead of talking into the microphone during the guided tour. If she went out more and did this kind of stuff, it would improve her vlogs.

Finally, a clip of her lying in bed with Daisy the cat, who has pretty crusty-looking eyes. Colleen thanks all the lovely and kind people who came to see the show, and also the lovely and kind people watching, who couldn't come to the show. She promises to do more vlogs, and asks people to send questions she can answer. (Is there anything left to ask?) A screenshot of her AS MIRANDA doing a show. She really has learned absolutely nothing.

From = Midnight Realm???

I was watching "I Saw the TV Glow" and look at that - a tree in the road!

What if From is inside the Midnight Realm created by Mr. Melancholy??? The fifth season will be the last because "The Pink Opaque" ended in its fifth season. I predict that the characters will appear in the finale, buried alive, and they will have to dig themselves out and retrieve their hearts, before they can return to the real world.

F-R-O-M?

I think there's a code embedded in the title. It's an acronym, not the word "from".

F - fear

R- remember (angkhooey)

O - omission because they can't leave so they're omitted from the real world

M - murder of crows

I also suspect that some character names are acronyms.

J - joining
A - a
D - dramatic
E - epic journey

B- be
O - orderly
Y - you're in charge
D - directing things

T - taking initiative
A- accepting the situation
B - being the only one who got out
I - intelligent
T - trusting that things will be ok
A - hmm.. there's too many letters in this name
