Okay so I was listening to Courtney Robertsons podcast with former producer Alanna and apparently they intentionally pair bachelors with female producers and bachelorettes with male producers and I’ve seen comments on here that suggest maybe they shouldn’t do it that way. Alanna said the lead usually has 2 producers. The main (who’s usually the opposite sex ) and the second producer/handler who’s the same sex as the lead. I wonder what the reasoning is ? Especially for bachelorettes? Is it really easier for female leads to open up to male producers than female ones ?

In recent seasons only Taylor Frankie Paul was given 2 female producers. But the leads before her had male & female.

Courtney also expressed that she wasn’t thrilled that Ben Flajnik’s main producer was a woman.
