Hello everyone, I'm experiencing a flare-up of perioral dermatitis. I first went to my primary care physician who prescribed gentamicin cream, which made it much worse. Currently, I'm using metronidazole 1% gel, but I still have several papules. I'd like to know about your experiences with erythrocytomycin gel. Did it cure your perioral dermatitis? Hi everyone, I've always had acne, I managed to control it with Diane and tretinoin. I stopped taking tretinoin a few weeks ago because I noticed small bumps under my lip on that side, as you can see in the photo. I don't know if they're still residual acne,or if it's due to something else,they don't itch or burn. My appointment with the dermatologist is months away. I appreciate any help.

Hello, I'd like to hear about the experiences of those who have used tretinoin and trifarotene. Which of the two retinoids helped them more with their acne, and which caused less irritation? I've seen mixed opinions from what I've read; some experience much less irritation and fewer side effects with trifarotene, while others experience the opposite. Hi, I was on tretinoin treatment for severe hormonal acne and blackheads on my lower cheeks and chin. The acne had improved, but a few days ago this texture appeared under my lip. I paused the tretinoin for three weeks in case that was the cause, but I still see the texture. Could it be blackheads, sebaceous filaments, or perioral dermatitis?
