Did I get ripped off?

So I posted earlier that my whirlpool chrome shadow top loader washing machine was only getting hot for the clean cycle, but not to wash clothes. I had a private appliance company come over. They had to replace the entire water valve unit. After parts, labor, and of course New Jersey state tax getting in on the action, I paid $485. I’m very impatient and I wanted it taken care of right away so that’s why I said yes. The machine itself is listed around $1,300 brand new and I’ve had it for about four or five years I would say. Did I just get ripped off? Also, he was here for a good couple of hours so it’s not like he did a 10 minute job and left.

Whirlpool shadow machine only gets hot on clean cycle

So I’ve had the gray and black whirlpool shadow edition washing machine for about four years. Never had a problem. Until now. The water does not get hot when it’s washing clothes anymore. I cleaned the valve screen, checked all the lines. Nothing. The hot water in my home is perfectly fine. However, the machine fills with really hot water ONLY when it’s doing a self clean cycle. Anybody have any clues? Thanks.

Free trial-charged anyway

So I accepted a free 30 day trial to iHeart Radio plus. 6 days later they charged me. I requested a refund from Apple and I’m waiting for the decision. Has this happened to anyone?

Negative balance

So I had a negative balance on my Capital One credit card. I made a purchase which was within the negative balance amount. I noticed that my available credit decreased by the amount. So I’m wondering, when the purchase finally posts and the negative balance absorbs the purchase, will my available credit go back up. I’m not sure why the available credit was affected if I have a negative balance.

Instacart never delivers same day if it’s passed 4:30 pm

Why is it even called insta?? if I try to order anything passed 4:30 PM, it tells me the fastest delivery is the next afternoon. Not even the morning. What is the point? I understand if it’s late at night, but 4:30 PM is early. Why do they do this?

AMC+ is down?!

I just paid for a year of AMC+ yesterday, for only $30. I couldn’t pass it up. Today, nothing plays on the app lol. “Oops, something is wrong on our end…”. Is the message I get. Anyone else experiencing this? Thanks.
