What is the Spanish term for homesteading?

My wife and I homestead. We have our chickens, ducks, goats, vegetables, fruit trees and bushes, etc. What is the Spanish term for homesteading or having a small family farm? Thank you.

I have lived here for 10 years, never seen this guy. SoCal

I was walking in my yard and I saw this little one walking around. I've never seen him before and I often go looking for bugs in my yard to appreciate them. Last pic is of it near a brick and a wine cork for reference (i also removed the plastic once I saw it).

New PR by 10 pins

I threw my best ever practice session. Not bad for a Friday night, on a house shot after the oil has been beat to hell all day long. I throw a DV8 Heckler Hybrid.

A year ago I averaged 150 with a house ball.

My son took this a little while ago while walking to his school. We've lived here for 10 years. We pass by here several times a day during the week. We've never seen a beaver in the wild here.
