I've been considering getting into the tech side of the theatre industry here in Australia (Melbourne, specifically), specifically light/sound operation. I've done some work on community shows and love the collaborative nature and contributing to live performances.

Hi all, hope you're doing well.
I'm just wondering if anyone has good recommendations for therapists that help with adults with autism/social anxiety. I haven't been diagnosed, but one 'conversation' with me and you'd know I was on the spectrum. I struggle a lot when talking to people and being engaging, and when there is someone I'd like to be friends with it seems to be one-sided. It's crushingly lonely, and I want to do something about it. If anyone knows of someone who can help with these kinds of issues I'd greatly appreciate being pointed in their direction.

Hi all,
I'm interested in getting into the tech side of theatre and I'm looking into this course. My options for Melbourne seem to be either RMIT or Melbourne Polytechnic.
I just wanted to know if there's anyone here currently doing this course (or something similar), and if so what do you think of it? Are the teachers engaged/supportive, are you getting hands on experience, making good connections etc.
