Hi, i was wondering if this is a cap or not as it's shorted. Was should i do? Can i just remove it?

The switch was left uncharged and no power for a long period of time. Upon pressing power button, i got a little red icon battery that mean discharged. Plugged charger and nothing for 4 hours.

Hi, i have a switch dock that doesn't even power on. Disassembled it and found out that the chip GL3510 is shorted out. It's the usb 3.2 gen 1 hub chip. Can it be remove it and expecting things to work fine? If not, can these Usb hub contain the chip that can be transfered into it as replacement. Thanks
