Another effective but important thing Balen gov can do- remove these eye shores(unused)

I took these picture standing at a random chowk in Kathmandu. I remember Balen Shah as mayor of KMC taking initiation to remove the overwhelming cables mostly left by internet service providers. These pvt companies never take away the used cables leaving behind these eye shore across all cities in Nepal. And these gets added every months. So one thing the gov can do is to make these companies accountable to remove unused wires. Or ask companies to merge themselves so that there will be lesser such pollutants. Or why don’t we adopt wireless internet services. We heard rumors of Elon Musk’s satellite internet service starlink interested in Nepal. Such services would be good for these matters at least. Anyway, this can be in a few days with one order from government. At least remove unused wires everywhere.

Every body celebrated the machine saying Hasta La Vista but for me it was character Sarah Conner, who anchored me to the cinematic masterpiece

I was just a kid when I watched the Terminator Part 2 at my friends house. For most the masterpiece was about the characters like melting steel villain, the iron-cast tough robot hero and his Hasta La Vista Dialogue, or the story line. But for me it was Sarah Connor’s character which stayed in my mind forever. Metaphorically, we now live in the world of thinking machines which are not at-all like the robots we saw in the movie but the character Sarah Conner we all are becoming.

Rabies killed one- lack of medicine

Why is this issue not bugging much people. I feel so mad against people who leave their pet dogs on street. Mad against local leaders for failing to castrate them and control street dogs. And mad against the incompetence of government to ensure such basic but very very essential health services.

The beholder’s eyes or self realization

It’s true that women are much in pressure to meet modern beauty standards as compared to men.

But are men expected to fit the similar criteria or it’s just a choice of men to look / feel beautiful.

I’m a guy in my mid-30s- 5’5”, a bit of a pot belly, slight man boobs, and sparse facial hair. Don’t really fit the algorithms of man beauty standards.

I don’t have six-pack, broad shoulders, or a gym body. I don’t even have the time to chase those things. Which shows struggle to make money.

Yet, I feel pretty good about myself most of the time.

I use basic skincare. I try to smell good. I wear clean clothes. I take care of my mental health as best I can despite life’s ups and downs.

I can still see young girl trying to advance over me. It’s the self love that makes one beautiful despite gender identity.

Translate this novel in English to show the world how good a Nepali fiction can be

Many people looking at my book rack often ask me what’s your fav fiction. Well it’s not easy to pick one. But, I must say this novel by Sarubhakta is the most underrated Nepali gem. One of my all time fav. Read it if you’re not a faint hearted. It’s love thriller and very graphically gruesome at times. It’s about how people are using hate as their utmost expression of ego while love should be the one. It’s a love story but very very unlikely plot twist.

How do you stream movies not available in platforms operational in Nepal?

I don’t know if this is a right place to ask this question. Anyone please help me. These days with the cineb sites not operational I am finding it difficult to watch movies that are available in open sources. I know such sites could not be legal but as a citizen of third world country I was finding it very convenient to watch any movies once people around the world uploaded it at the site. Guys House of Dragon S 3 is soon to go on air, and we don’t have HBO services in Nepal, in India they stream via Jiostar which too is not available in Nepal. There are some sites like 223movies.net but it’s not convenient with lots of pornographic advertisements. I just don’t want to miss the GoT prequels …
