Shadow priest in tbc raiding.

I am curious to hear what people think about what party should a shadow priest be a part of in 25 man raiding on tbc. I have been playing shadow since mid phase 1 and have just found myself a full-time raid spot in a guild. I have always been placed with our 4 mages to help with mana and while I understand my damage isn't anything special but wouldn't it make more sense to be placed with either an ele shaman or resto shaman to get the additional spell power for more mana Regen?

As the title says, I'm trying to find a legit way to make the black river playground quieter. It being hollow makes it quite loud when trying to learn new tricks and failing. Any ideas? I tried putting some foam mats underneath which helped a little but it is still super loud.
