Today I learned I’m not really trans

I am a trans person who didn’t come out until later in life. I have already been told many times - including by other trans people - that I’m not really seen as valid since I can’t pass, and that I make real trans women look bad by trying to present femme. Now I learned from a trans person that I’m not valid because I’ve considered detransitioning because of all of the hate I get from all sides. A real trans person would never consider detransitioning. I guess I’m never going to be seen as valid from any group.

Stage Right 15w Combo Troubleshooting

Hi folks. Question for the amp experts here. I just received the Monoprice Stage Right 15w Combo tube amp. I took it out of the box, plugged it in, and within 5 minutes it shut off and won't power back on. AC outlet is still working, tubes don't look damaged or white, and nothing else looks unusual on visual inspection. I contacted Monoprice about a return, but it looks like the process is time consuming. I am curious if there is some basic troubleshooting I can do? I suspect the internal fuse may have blown, but I am unsure about pulling the chassis on a brand new defective item. I am reasonably handy with electronics, but don't have specific experience with tube amps. Any thoughts?

I’ve came out about a decade ago, in my late 30s. Since that time I’ve been on HRT and in therapy trying to navigate transitioning in a world where transphobia and passing privilege are widespread. I don’t pass and will never be able to pass, so I am constantly subjected to misgendering and criticism, including from other trans people who say I make “real trans women look bad.” Today I was treated like shit by yet another healthcare provider - a dermatologist of all things. I just can’t stay on this emotional rollercoaster. It’s not worth it and I can’t see any positive benefits from continuing to push back against the hate. I’m detransitioning and going to try to go back to living a life under the radar. Best of luck to everyone.
