Touring Tips?

I'm going to be doing some light touring in a few weeks on my MT-03 and was curious if anyone has done anything to theirs to make it better for long rides. Besides a windscreen, I don't mind the wind hitting me.

This will be the first time I'm going on a trip on a bike this small, so it's just got me wondering if I am overlooking something.

Metaphysics question

I come from a philosophy background, but have always found physics interesting and have tried to get a grasp of it by reading various books and listening to some of the Great Courses.

Probably not surprisingly, I stumbled upon metaphysics and also found it fascinating. Unfortunately, none of my friends have any real interest in any of these subjects so when I ran into someone with a strong physics background at a party I jumped at the opportunity to discuss their thoughts on some of the classic metaphysics questions.

Essentially, he thought it was a waste of time. I didn't tell him I was into philosophy, but I assume he'd feel the same about that. I got the feeling he felt metaphysics wasn't a real discipline and akin to "Quantum Woo".

Just curious if this same stance is held by the majority of physics professionals, or if he just possessed a particularly rigid belief. He did come across as a little overly-cynical, so I'm curious. For what it's worth, I hold no strong opinion, other than it being interesting to talk about.

Any ideas on how to unwind?

This might sound weird, but I can't remember the last time I really relaxed. I have been obsessed with my career for years and deprived myself of a lot of enjoyment in life. The only truly enjoyable hobby I have is cycling/mountain biking which is also very strenuous. I haven't enjoyed other typical activities guys do to relax, like fishing or golf.

I am incredibly stressed and would like to treat myself for a day or so. Willing to spend some money to make it happen but have no idea what to even do. Is there like a spa alternative or something? A massage sounds nice but everything else doesn't interest me. I know this is a weird ask. Just brainstorming I guess. Thanks in advance for any ideas
