I'm sick of Native Instruments holding my projects hostage

Even when I don't update my computer, every few weeks, my libraries decide to take a vacation.

I'm done with Native Instrument's bullshit. In my three years of using East Wests Composer cloud, even though it is a subscription, I have never had more than the occasional library disconnect on me.

Even third party Kontakt stuff does not fail nearly as often.

This is a quick draft of a better version of our logo. I wanted feedback to understand whether it was going in the right direction. I also want to know if the design is taken. A reverse image searched brought back nothing.

We use a lot of hexagons in our product design so I redesigned the logo to reference that in its shape. I wanted something a little retro, a little tech-y and a little playful.

Third image is the logo I want to replace . It got a lot of hate last time I posted here, but people we work with get the humor in the design of that version to the point people seem to really like it. Before they fall in love with it, i want to make one more push into simplifying and strengthening the logo.

Thanks and cheers!

Left to right:

  • Casio A158W, custom (new favorite) : orange gel display, cheap alpine strap, 18mm to 22mm watch lug adapter in black aluminium.
  • Timex Weekender TW2W99500UJ
  • Ciga Design X-series Gorilla automatic in titanium and blue.
  • Casio G-Shock GM-2100B-4A (oldest and most worn)
  • Casio G-Shock GD-010-3DR (current EDC)

My philosophy with my collection is diversity in style, high personality, low cost, tough watches that grab attention for all the right reasons.

Looking into a Boderry Voyager and/or a Prevail Future Field watch in sunshine orange. I intend to own a total of 10 watches, at least one with some smart functionality.

Which one is your favorite? Do you think this is a tasteful or random AF collection?

Now have at thee!

Casio A158WA-1

  1. Orange Alpine strap (really shitty one), suggest a nicer one on orange, please!
  2. Black anodized Aluminium lug adapters (18-22mm)
  3. Orange lighting gel over the display.
