Am I missing something, besides the invitation, I though the engineer mark would open after I hit friendly status. Which was a few hours ago.

Thank you to the commanders who sent stories about their engineer trials, I am still reading and responding.
For some reason despite being allied, (far past the goal) I can not progress to get this engineer so I can move on to the g5 shields/thrusters engineer.

Engineering stories, 07 commanders I have been torturing myself for the past 6 weeks hunting down engineering and wanted to hear others stories
For context have been torturing myself for the past 6 weeks hunting down engineering for a (s) ship and have hit another home of the British, Wall. What I want is shields but I need lei first, and to do that I need to find and trade with another 40 markets, not sure how since I've taken part in colonization and have 3yrs around the bubble.
As a result i will be spending another mo or so trading, during this time I'd like to read of others trails with engineers.

Material Trading
o7 commander, I have a quick question on how material trading and such works, I've been in the black and due to rule 3 requiring me to add 200 characters this is padded out I need to know if iron can be mined from asteroids to trade for selenia for power plant engineering upgrades
