Dual Wield - am I the only one?

Just started playing this and got the Dual Wield stance last night and I'm loving it. I love the speed and the fact I can block/parry while attacking. The damage isn't tremendous, guess that's the drawback but figured I can pair it with Double Blade or Crossguard later.

In reading the old threads here it looks like DW gets no love. Everyone uses Crossguard with Blaster or Single. I'm pretty new so I don't really know what the end-game is like, but is DW crap? Can it still be effective later in the game? For what it's worth I'm playing on Jedi Master.

I’m extremely disappointed after finishing the game for the first time.

Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely loved the game and would play it again 100%, but I just can’t believe we don’t have any way of replaying bosses without going through the whole game again. I noticed there was no meditation training but I assumed this would maybe be a new game+ unlock so I pushed through and finally finished the game last night. I absolutely loved some of the bosses and was really looking forward to replaying the dagan and vader fights, only to find out that the only way to do that is to play the entire game again. I mean, HUH??? We already had a great way to replay bosses and enemies of our choosing in the first game, so why take it out?? I also beat the game on Jedi Master difficulty which made me want to replay the bosses in Grandmaster but alas I can’t. I know I should just replay the game but man I’m disappointed

PS Pro - performance or quality?

In older posts and reviews everyone suggested performance mode.

However with PSSR2 upgrade, what is the best mode now? Still performance or quality?

Did anyone else find spawn of oggdo not that hard?

I think I defeated him on the 3rd or 4th attempt. I just used charged blaster shots to stop his attacks, and the rest was simple. Double oggdo had me in tears though 🤣

Question about difficulty

In the last game, I played on Master and thought it was the perfect difficulty. Is the master difficulty in Survivor equivalent to that in your opinion. Based on the sliders for enemy aggression, parry timing, and incoming damage, Jedi Knight is the equivalent to Jedi Master in the previous game. Do you find this to be accurate? Or does Master Difficulty in both games mean basically the same thing?

Pour one out for Rick the Door Technician

I limped up to this boss after one of the most difficult fights in the game so far, not even sure where I’m going as I’m just running around trying to close out newly opened areas before moving on with the story, and I run into this legend. Zero stims, half a health bar, sighing when I see him in the distance, not even realizing he’s a boss. I tip my hat to you, sir.

First playthrough - Master or Grandmaster?

This will be my first Starwars game experience ever and I'm pumped for it.

I've played Elden Ring and other games like God of War, Ghost of Tsushima / Yotei all on the hardest difficulties. Some I thought were reasonable, others were a bit frustrating but nothing insurmountable. Parry / dodge games are natural to me.

I'm looking for a challenge, but also want to enjoy the game. Definitely not looking to die against a boss 30 times in a row to figure out his patterns and timings, or even dying often. Getting too old for that.

With that in mind, I was thinking of starting on Master. Would that be suitable given my experience or is Grandmaster totally manageable?

Is it worth it

So I bought the first game a couple days ago, there’s definitely things I like but omg is it a slog more often then not, constant stun locks, no fast travel, confusing hit boxes, hits that shouldn’t have even touched me, absolutely annoying puzzles, the back tracking and so on, are these all issues in the second game because I’d honestly rather just watch the rest of the game on yt and skip to the second game if the second game is better
