Is there any way i could bond or stick two very small metal pieces ?

I don’t know how i broke my glasses and now I am looking for a fix, went to my optician but he said that he will need to find the hinge somewhere and it would need some time. Is there a glue or easy fix that could fix that ?

laptops that look like macbook design-wise ?

I work mainly on heaving rendering softwares and revit, sadly none of them is available on macOs natively or will be in the futur, and It's not optimal to use parrallels.

On the other hand the RTX gaming laptop and even workstations look horrendous to the point I am failing to make that compromise, I have looked this past week into laptops and the only 2 laptops that I found similar in design are the microsoft surface laptop ultra which will come out next fall according to microsoft, and currently the dell pro max 16 premium, but it's overpriced to have arguably worse performance than cheaper gaming laptops.

Please recommand me a laptop that looks sleek and professional without compromising performance! thanks in advance

Dell Pro Max 16 Premium vs Asus zephyrus g16 (Help me choose)

Budget: 2k to 3.5k
Country: Morocco
Use Case: Heavy cad work and modeling / rendering
Preferred Specs: 16 inch monitor - 64gb ram - good gpu
Notes: this pc won't be used for games

Hello, I am looking for a pc and I stumbled upon 2 options. I mainly do heavy cad work and rendering/modeling stuff and the pc will not be used for video games, I already have a pc for games at homes.

The option are :

 Dell Pro Max 16 Premium (Intel Core Ultra 7 265H /64Go/2 To SSD/RTX™ PRO 3000/16''/WUXGA) - Price : 3.2k usd

ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 RTX 5090 Ultra 9 64 Go 2 To SSD - price : 3.85k usd

Please help me make the right choice, is zephyrus worth the extra 650 usd ?

looking for a laptop to do architectural work ( cad, modeling, rendering )

hello, I am looking for a laptop that can support heavy cad files and is pretty decent at rendering. the budget is : 1500usd to 2000 usd. I won't be doing the final renders on it since I have a good pc at home. this laptop needs to have good battery that can last at least 14 hours since I travel a lot to meet with clients, and also I don't want to it be bad looking, something sleek and minimal macbook style. those heavy gaming pc look unprofessional. thanks in advance for your advice!

Opinion on ArchAdemia ?

Hello, I am trying to learn as much as I can about architecture and cover all the aspects of it, from designing to bim to construction side and technical detailling. And most of plateformes don't cover all of that. one that check many boxes on what they have written is archademia but i am not sure if they really deliver or just give basic information, so if you could possibly give me your opinion if you ever used it or advise me to seek information elsewhere would be appreciated!

Which artisan mousepad would suit me? (Advice)

for context I only play CS2 and EFT, but I care about CS2 more than anything. I am right now using logitech superstrike X2 and willing to buy WLMOUSE beast X max. I play with 1.1 - 1.3 sens 800 dpi which is a bit above normal speed. I already bought the Artisan type 99 mid but its feels slugish and inconsistent. I am right now using the qck heavy, its good overall but feels like something is missing. please help me make the right choice. Ive already seen the picture that describes every type of artisan but still I need someone with experience because its not easy for me to buy them on the regular. thanks in advance !

What are the main “pillars” of architecture and how do you get good at all of them?

I’ve been thinking about how weird architecture is as a profession. It feels like it’s actually a mix of several different careers at once: design/art, technical construction, networking and client relations, laws and regulations, and innovation/research.

The tricky part is that you can’t really ignore any of them. You can be amazing at design but struggle to get projects built, or be super technical but never attract clients. It feels like you need to be decent at everything and excellent at at least one.

For those of you who are experienced architects or had fruitful careers: how did you improve across these areas? And if you feel you really excel at one pillar, what did you do to get there? Books, habits, mentors, workflows.

I will be thankful for any information shared!
