Rockerverb 50 mkiii thoughts?

Hey everyone. I am the happy owner of a TH30. I love the cleans, but the gain channel is just OK. I may have an opportunity to trade the TH30 and a bass cabinet plus cash for a Rockerverb 50 mkiii. Does anyone own one of these? Are they as good as everyone says? I should have the opportunity to try one at guitar center, but it will be a long drive.

I play everything from clean tones with reverb to punk to stoner doom and even venture into thrash and Swedish death territory depending on my level of intoxication.

Again, the TH30 cleans are super dreamy and the amp is a great pedal platform on the clean channel, but the gain is a bit scooped and fizzy. What are your experiences with the rockerverb? I have an orange 2x12 open back cab and a vintage Marshall 4x10. Thanks!

Please tell me more about this instrument

Hello. My mother recently gave me her high school oboe, complete with 1965 sales receipt. I can see it is a Selmer Signet model, serial 19196, but I don’t know much more about it, or even it’s worth. Thanks in advance for any information.

Traded an old 2x15 for this setup. It’s a 1x15 paired with a 4x10. The gallien 800 RB amp can biamp, but the rig sounds better daisy chaining both cabs. I run a sansamp DI bass driver in the front, and have been experimenting with using a 59 bassman clone tube preamp in the effects loop, or even directly into the input. Sounds real big and deep.

I have to keep up with a barbarian hitting drummer and two 100 watt tube amp guitarists. It’s sort of big for the van. Most times we play medium sized venues, the sound guy just takes a direct output from the sansamp pedal, or even the amp. We play louder Sabbath/Thin Lizzy style music. Sounds so good with the baritone guitar! Even better with my 1979 Stingray. Do you all have similar issues with needing a big ass rig to play with loud guitars?

In the meantime, I love the sound and at least it makes me excited to play and write every night. My last 2x15 cab sounded like a whale fart at high volumes.
