What is Time Machine backing up?
My Macbook Pro was asleep all weekend (I wish I could've too) — like I closed the lid on Friday afternoon and didn't touch the computer again until today (Monday morning). While I have Time Machine set to do hourly backups and it does that while sleeping, I'm curious what material it's backing up if the computer status isn't changing.
I looked at my Time Machine snapshots in Disk Utility because my hard drive suddenly seemed a lot more full than it was on Friday, only to find that Time Machine snapshots were eating up around 60GB of space — but again, this is during a Sunday afternoon/evening and overnight into Monday when I wasn't using the computer at all. So, what's it backing up?
