Screws for DSA Picatinny Rail Cover

Where else can I buy the screws and nuts for the DSA picatinny scope mount? I have part #620A-A.

I bought this scope mount many years, and many house moves ago. The small parts have been lost. DSA charges $49.25 for the screws and nuts.

Who Runs a .45 Suppressor on their 9mm/10mm PCC?

Who runs a .45 suppressor on their 9mm, or 10mm, PCC?

The prices of a suppressor that convert between 9mm and .45 are more expensive than the .45 version of the same suppressor. The ATF won't allow us to have a second set of baffles. These suppressors have thin spacers with a 9mm (plus clearance) hole in the center. Those pieces are not baffles. The original .45 baffles stay inside with the 9mm "gates".

My original plan was to buy a suppressor that converts from 9mm to .45, because I haven't found a 10mm suppressor. Now I'm thinking I should just buy a standard .45 can for use on my upcoming 9mm or 10mm PCC.

Specifically, I was considering the Shaw Armament Jekyll & Hyde. I have a suppressor from Shaw and it is excellent.

I can't post a link, so I'll post screen captures of the Shaw website.

SBR Question

If someone gets an SBR, are they then allowed to have a vertical foregrip? Or, is that only for full-auto guns?

Other than having a full size stock, what is the advantage of SBR over a regular PCC? Since I can install a suppressor, use a brace and install an FRT, what would the SBR do for me?

See the picture. The SBR is just a matter of paperwork and a short wait. Is SBR 'better'?

Help Down Select - Taurus RPC, MKE AP5, Stribog SP9A3, Springfield Kuna

In the near future, I'm going to buy a PCC. It will probably be 9mm, but I am a fan of 10mm. My requirements are basic.

Which one would you choose? Why?

Taurus RPC, MKE AP5, Stribog SP9A3 or Springfield Kuna

1.     Must shoot hollow points

2.     Must shoot with/without a suppressor with minimal conversion

3.     Must have delayed blowback

4.     Must have FRT options

  1. The brace, or stock, must extend or fold. No rigid stocks.

I've searched this forum, and others, but still don't see a clear winner. Once I buy a larger suppressor, it will always be on the PCC. Until then, it needs to shoot well sans suppressor.

If they’re reliable, I don’t care which magazines it uses. Approximately $1,500 is the top of my budget for the PCC.

I bought this new in 1992

This is my only AK. I bought it new in 1992.

I obviously haven't shot it much. It's had a couple of boxes of ammo. Back then, I also bought about 20 steel magazines. I still have them.

Later this year I plan to buy an under-folder.

It's been cool hangin' out here and seeing the cool AK's you guys have. Keep posting!

X2D Delivered in 36 Hours!!!

Bambu Lab shocked me by shipping the X2D so quickly. I wasn't looking for it, even though I had a tracking number. I assumed that it would arrive this coming week.

The packaging is impressive. The attention to detail and ease of assembly are both confidence inspiring.

Now, I'm waiting on filament to arrive.

This is my first personal 3D printer. I've spent years using industrial Stratasys stuff. This 3D printer does a lot more and is easier to use.

Jing Jang - Help Needed

For several years I've been trying to find a song that I heard in a Chipotle while working in California.

It has female singers with an oriental type sound and "Jing Jang" is repeated many times. I'll see if I still have a recording that I made. If so, I'll try to get more information.

Please help!

TIA!
