Received a DOA Titan link LCD cable

A while back i bought a AIO for my new PC build, and I got the LCD Titan link. When I finally set it up I could never get into the screen setup in ICUE. Eventually I tested it and found out if I plug in a USB-C to USB-C cable into it it will work. Which leads me to the conclusion that the cable was DOA as it has never worked.

So after talking to corsair the options are to RMA the cable or buy another one.

I don't want to RMA a single 5 dollar cable as it feels excessive for that. (Dont want to have to ship it) But my only other option is to just buy it. Its only 5 dollars so its not a huge deal its just very annoying to have to spend another 5 dollars just to get my product to work out of the box.

I know my post doesn't have any actual substance to it I just had to "vent" out somewhere

How do I smooth this out?

On the left is a 2m ramp and on the right is a 4m ramp, is there a way to smooth out the transition between the two different angled slopes?

Can someone tell me more about this mark holcomb SE?

Is this from the 2015 release or the newer 2023 release? I was trying to identify it by the serial number but its different from the newer mark holcomb SE that I've seen. Any help would be appreciated!
