P3D and MSFS 2024 comparison.

Wanting to appreciate just how much simming has come along over the years.

Was looking at my old screenshots and never really saw a direct comparison between both sims. Wanted to try my hand at making one using screenshots I may have.

Was someone who was really happy using P3D, but looking at these pictures, don't know how I didn't switch sooner.

I’ve played FIFA for years. Up until 2022 I was playing on World Class before upping to Legendary and then upping to Ultimate last year. Also let me state that I play nearly every game of the season with 10 minute halves.

There has never been a CM as easy as this one. I’m a Chelsea fan and usually my first CM is a Chelsea one. On ultimate with the new authentic gameplay, the game has been a breeze. I rarely concede, can score quite easily, not challenging.

So I turned up the sliders.

I’ve researched, using OS sliders, random ones from Reddit/discord. I’ve done a fuck ton and still find the game just way too easy. Using manual shooting/passing still quite easy. Using competitive still easy. I’ve tried using Legendary/World Class/Professional to see if maybe Ultimate is bugged somehow but no clue.

How a game goes is I have 80% possession and score a couple goals, the ai at most has 7 shots and 1 or 2 scammy goals.

Maybe it’s my playing style? So I started playing slower, like actual real football. Building up at the back. Nope. Still easy.

Maybe it’s me using Chelsea. I don’t buy overpowered players. My biggest transfer in a 4 season Chelsea CM was 88ovr Schlotterbeck. I also sometimes be realistic and play non-starters in important games, feigning fights or fallouts between teammates or just roleplaying to add that spice to the game.

I also switched to a new CM managing Werner Bremen and on a 12 game winning streak. Beating Bayern 3-1.

I genuinely don’t know what to do. I love playing FIFA but ultimate team just isn’t for me and clubs only happens when my mates are on which is quite rare nowadays (pains of getting older). I tried player career mode, but I find that progression way too slow for my liking.

I don’t want to say it’s the curse of being too “good”, also I’ve looked into it and many others are saying the same this year but I’m truly stumped. I can deal with the unrealistic AI transfers, or the bugs, or any tiny issue which ruins the realism but the game honestly has started to stale because every single match I play is a win.

Anyone able to fix this?
