My order from the Moomin shop has arrived. I’m in love with these jars! The coffee and card are gifts. 😊

Hi everyone. Not many empties this month!

Here’s what they are and my brief-ish thoughts:

Dove Restoring Care body lotion: Good body lotion. Dried quickly and did not feel greasy. Pleasant coconut scent.

Dove body+mind serum body wash: Good product, nice scent.

Dove deodorant: My staple is Mitchum deodorant because I sweat a lot when I go outside due to anxiety. However this was fine to use at home and lasted well. Didn’t use it on days I went out so can’t comment on how it works for heavy sweaters. No white marks. Nice smell.

I received Dove gift sets for Christmas. The products are nice and do what they say. I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy them. If I want basic products I could probably get them for cheaper. If I wanted to splurge on something nicer, Dove wouldn’t be what I would get.

Palmers leave-in conditioner: I used to use this all the time around 3 years ago until the shop I bought them from stopped stocking them! There was only a small bit left. I think past me was scared to use it up. I really like this product and once I use up my current supply of leave-in conditioner, I will try to repurchase.

Herbal Essences chamomile conditioner:
I usually use the HE rose shampoo and conditioner but wanted a change. The scent is very nice. You can rinse this out or leave it in. It does a good job (for me) either way.

Lush Kitchen Softy body scrub: This was from the Lush Kitchen May box. Sadly this was my least favourite product from that box. It had a good texture and worked well. I liked the scent at first but over time it became kind of musty? Not sure how to explain it but the scent became unpleasant about halfway through.

Lush Vision facial serum sample: I am clueless with skincare and had not used a serum until now. I think I received this around 2 years ago. It still looked brand new so I gave it a go. I used it after washing my face with micellar water. It had a little bit of a sticky texture that lasted. I don’t know if it made any difference to my skin or not. I prefer products that dry quickly/do not leave a texture so I don’t know if I would purchase the full product.

My partner’s first ever kitchen box! Smells great and love the beautiful blue colours. Seems perfect to cool down in this hot weather. 😊

Hello everyone, I’m a little late but I wanted to share my haul. I’m a big Moomin fan so I went on launch day!

I’m in love with the Little My soap!! It smells like a watermelon jolly rancher to me which is the opposite of what I expected. I haven’t tried the shower gummy or the delight yet but they smell great. The bath bomb was nice, nothing overly special but I did enjoy it. I didn’t buy the body lotion because it didn’t smell like anything to me and I’m not too bothered by Lush’s body lotions.

My store (UK) did not have the perfume or the body spray 😓. There was a delivery issue with the perfume. It’s disappointing that the body spray is only limited to certain stores. I really don’t understand the decision to do that since it’s such a risk blind buying fragrances. I know you can return them but it can be a lot of hassle for some people. Not sure how to word it but I dislike this sort of FOMO and location exclusive marketing. The staff were apologetic and I felt bad for them as I’m sure lots of people will come in asking.

Rant over. Anyway, I’ve enjoyed reading people’s reviews on the fragrances. As I might blind buy, it would be great to read more if you’d like to share. What do you think of them, which do you prefer, etc? 😊
