After months of reading and watching other people's monthly empties, I began collecting my own during September and couldn't believe how many products I finished. It is so satisfying emptying them out! Not sure anyone enjoys these detailed reviews like I do, but here are my thoughts on each product grouped into 4 categories: Holy Grails, Would Repurchase, Sample/Travel Size, and Would Not Repurchase.

HOLY GRAIL PRODUCTS | REPURCHASED AGAIN AND AGAIN

• Acwell Licorice pH 5.5 Balancing Cleansing Toner: Love this hydrating toner and use it in almost every skincare routine, morning and night. My routine doesn't feel complete without it. Already have multiple backup bottles.
• Cocokind Calming Magnesium Mist: At first, I didn't think this facial mist was anything special. The sprayer is average and there's no smell or "experience" during the use. But very quickly I began reaching for this over and over, and now I use it in every skincare routine and have multiple backup bottles. It truly is calming, especially when recovering from microneedling, retinoid use, or after a spicy exfoliation. Will never go without it!
• Timeless 20% Vitamin C Serum: Watched countless videos of dermatologists recommending this as a dupe for the expensive formerly patented vitamin C. My skin isn't sensitive and I tolerated this right away. It has a slight smell (hot dog water?) which never bothers me at all and I hardly notice. The texture is lightweight and a tad on the oily side. I apply this in the AM after cleansing and let it absorb for 5 minutes before the rest of my skincare routine. This is probably my 5th bottle of the 1 ounce size, but I won't buy the bigger size because I don't want to risk oxidation. I use this on my face, neck, chest, hands, and forearms.
• Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam: I looked at my Amazon order history and have purchased this over 25 times in the past few years. I use both the Dark and Ultra Dark, and I have purchased full size and travel size bottles. I have tried many other self tanning products over the years but always come back to this one.
• Amlactin Daily Nourish Body Lotion, 12% Lactic Acid: Relatively new to me but now a staple I went through a full size bottle myself and then went through a full box of the minis from travel as well as gifting to my friends to share the Amlactin love! My skin has never been softer.
• Essie Gel Couture Nail Polish in Fairy Tailor: I wore acrylic and gel nails for 15+ years which destroyed my natural nails. I now do my nails at home every 1-2 weeks, and this Essie Gel polish and top coat are my absolute favorites to get a beautiful finish and thick gel-like texture that lasts for at least a week (usually longer).
• Lemme Sleep Gummies: Relatively new to me, but a new favorite and already on my 4th bottle. When I first started taking these gummies, I was shocked at how well I stayed asleep through the night. I was getting 8+ hours of sleep for the first time in over a decade! Since then, the full effect has probably decreased a bit, but I am still sleeping very soundly most nights for at least 7 hours (that is a HUGE improvement for my insomnia issues!) so I will continue taking these and have recommended to my friends as well.
• Sensodyne Rapid Relief Toothpaste: There truly is nothing like this toothpaste when you suffer from sensitive teeth. Not sure I'll ever be able to stop using it, although it seems to be harder to find these days.
• Lay Flat Hair Claw Clips: A new discovery and a new HG! I have long hair and these clips hold all my hair securely and lay flat without jabbing me in the head while driving. These are the generic Amazon version and they work great. Obsessed!

PRODUCTS I WOULD OR HAVE REPURCHASED:

• EltaMD UV Skin Recovery 100% Mineral Face Sunscreen SPF 50: Enjoyed this sunscreen, highly recommended by my dermatologist. It felt very hydrating, although I did notice that it dried down to a matte finish by the time I applied makeup. It's a little pricey but seemed to last longer than I expected. I might repurchase but for now I am loving other SPF products more than this one.
• Anua Zero-Cast Moisturizing Sunscreen SPF 50: Love this SPF! Felt very lightweight on my mature oily/combo skin and paired beautifully with makeup on top without pilling. Left a lovely glow and dewy finish.
• SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule: Lovely, very lightweight and watery, and I enjoyed using this as one of my hydrating toners during skin flooding. I also reached for this when my skin was recovering or irritated from microneedling or tretinoin use.
• SK-II Facial Treatment Essence: Lightweight watery essence with beautiful spa like smell from the pitera ingredient. Lovely glass bottle packaging. Really enjoyed using this, it felt luxurious (probably because I knew the price tag, haha) and definitely had calming properties. Won't rush to repurchase unless I can find it on significant discount (like now during Prime Day sale).
• Puffs Facial Tissues Plus Lotion: I go through so many of these boxes, at least one per month. Need the lotion tissues for extra softness.
• Downy Unstoppables Laundry Scent Booster: Another new discovery. I have a huge container of another scent from Sam's Club, but I picked up this smaller size to try out the #26 scent. Smells divine! Love washing my sheets and towels with this.
• Members Mark Omeprazole: I weaned myself off prescription strength acid blockers years ago but still need this acid reducer due to long term genetic acid reflux. I buy it in bulk at Sam's Club.
• Thorne Basic B Complex: Because I have been on Omeprazole (acid reducer) for decades, I read that taking Vitamin B would help offset certain deficiencies and better nutrition absorption and this version came highly recommended.
• OxiClean Foam-Tastic Bathroom Cleaner: As a daily bath taker (every single day!) I use this foaming cleaner several times a week to clean the bathtub from the grime left behind by body washes and self tanner.
• Microingredients Vitamin D + K2: Daily supplement for Vitamin D, and the combination with K2 is needed for optimal D absorption. I take double the daily dose to boost immune system.
• L'Oreal Ever Pure Clarify Shampoo: Love this shampoo recommended by Abbey Yung and use it regularly as my first cleanse when washing my hair. Has a very nice lather and smell. Have several backups.
• Cotton Rounds: use them daily (brand doesn't matter to me).

SAMPLE/TRAVEL SIZES:

• Naturium Glow Getter Multi Oil Body Wash: Really enjoyed this body wash. It felt very nourishing and lathered nicely. I was a bit surprised by the smell which reminded me of buttered popcorn. I would consider repurchasing another travel size but likely wouldn't repurchase the full size of this product.
• Byoma Moisturizing Gel Cream: The travel size lasted a lot longer than I expected. It was a beautiful lightweight texture and perfect moisturizer for my oily/combo skin. Reminded me of the Cocokind electrolyte water cream in weight and texture. Would repurchase, but probably not for a while because I have many other moisturizers I'm trying.
• Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Play Body Wash: Enjoyed this body wash and loved the smell. It felt very moisturizing. I would definitely enjoy another travel size but probably wouldn't repurchase the full size.
• Anua 3 Ceramide Panthenol Moisture Barrier Cream: Lovely texture and weight for my combo skin, not too light and not too heavy, perfect for a night time moisturizer for me. Immediately bought the full size product during the Ulta Fall Haul sale.
• Farmacy Green Clean Cleansing Balm: I was truly and pleasantly surprised by this product and literally said "Wow" to myself when I used this sample for the first time. This product is absolutely beautiful, melted right into my skin as I used it for my first nighttime cleanse. Removed my makeup easily and was a luxurious cleansing experience for me. I would love to repurchase this but not sure I will because of the price point, but I would absolutely recommend it to others. LOVED it!
• Point of View Drip It and Whip It: These small sample sizes make it tough to give them a meaningful try, but I enjoyed the texture of both products and would happily try them again if I get more samples. I don't know enough about them to want to purchase the full sizes.
• Sofie Pavitt Face Omega Rich Moisturizer: Same issue with the small sample size, but I've actually tried this product before and loved it both times. The cream is truly rich and nourishing but doesn't feel heavy at all. I have combo skin and prone to milia and closed comedones, so I enjoy most products from this brand which is known for acne safe and non-comedogenic formulas.
• Shiseido Benefiance Wrinkle Smoothing Eye Cream: Even from this teeny tiny sample, I could tell that this eye cream was beautiful. I only got one use out of it, but the cream had a weight to it which felt perfect to hydrate my undereyes. I would love to try this again if I can get another sample.
• Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream Face Moisturizer:Difficult to tell from the sample, but I enjoyed this cream. Lovely texture and experience, and would love it try it again.

WOULD NOT REPURCHASE:

• Anua Azelaic Acid 10 Hyaluronic Acid Soothing Toner Pads: These were fine. They were very saturated but I didn't notice any benefits and got impatient to get rid of them. I saw another Redditor call them "nonsense" which made me laugh at the time. I ended up using them on my body to get rid of them faster.
• Krave Beauty Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser: I fell victim to the TikTok hype of this cleanser. People rave about this one and say it's their holy grail, and I kept trying to figure out why. It is a jelly like texture (which I don't love) and although it lathered up nicely, it was difficult to rinse out and felt like it stuck to my hairline no matter how much I would rinse. It left a nice hydrating feel but I just didn't enjoy the cleansing experience with this one like I do with others.
• Thayers Milky Mist: I bought this as soon as it was released earlier this year and had high hopes. It left my skin feeling greasy and very quickly decided I didn't like it. I ended up using it as body care to get rid of it.
• Boka Nano / Carifree toothpaste: Jumped on the Hydroxyapatite bandwagon but not sure this toothpaste does anything. Couldn't wait to be rid of these.

Skincare all products are fragrance free (except some by mi mini)

bioderma sensibio micellair water: gentle and good at removing waterproof sunscreen or used in place of regular cleanser when I really just want to get to bed asap.

mixoon heartleaf toner: very watery, more of a hot weather or oily toner.

mixoon heartleaf sun stick: The first sun stick I've tried. It's invisible on me and not oily. I only used it for re-application in lover uv exposure moments. I do wonder how little product you can easily use in this one. It's only 15gr and some stays in the packaging.

geek and gorgeous HA rich: nice for the winter, very hydrating ofc

skin 1004 centella sun serum: moisturizing sunscreen, I liked it but more for colder weather.

some by mi: galactomyces vitamin c mini: freebee with the big sheet mask box I bought. It's fine, I wouldn't buy it because it's only 3% vitamin c and I'm cautious about fragrance.

I’ve gotten to the point where I have very few Project Pan items left and I’m mostly using HG staples now. Each month my empties pile gets a little smaller!

HAIR
💔Pantene Pro-Vitamin Essence Weightless Leave On Treatment- made my hair feel like absolute STRAW until the next shampoo day. I kept trying it but finally gave up. There’s about 1/3-1/4 of the bottle left- I’m done. Would never repurchase.
🩷Garnier Fructis Curl Refresher spray- I loved the scent and this did what it was supposed to do on second and third day hair. Great price point too. I don’t wear my hair natural all that often but would repurchase at some point. I’m using a Curlsmith refresh product now and it’s very similar for WAY more $$.
🩷Dove Scalp+Hair Therapy conditioner. Works great to soften and detangle. Light weight enough for my fine hair. Would repurchase but I’ll probably try a different Dove conditioner next time. There’s no scalp benefit because it only goes on the lengths and ends.
🏆IGK Good Behavior anti frizz and heat protectant spray- HG! Will repurchase. Works great after I blow dry if I’m using more heat like a curling or straightening iron. Smell good too! I usually buy the full size but had this mini for travel.
🩷Cake the Deep Treat hair mask- smells awesome. Works well. Not too heavy. Would repurchase although I will probably try a different hair mask next time.

FACE
🏆Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer- LOVE. This is my 3rd or 4th tube of this. I use nightly and sometimes in the morning before spf as well. Works great to sandwhich with tretinoin.

BODY
🏆Dove+crumbl Strawberry Crumb Cake beauty bar- BEST BEST BEST bar soap ever. This was limited edition and I only have 2 left. The scent is perfection and it cleanses well and isn’t drying. Would repurchase if it ever came back!
🏆Dove+crumbl Strawberry Crumb Cake deodorant- same as above. I LOVED this. I scraped every bit out of the tube. I wish this line was permanent.

MAKEUP
🏆Ilia Super Serum skin tint- HG! I always repurchase and have for years. It’s great for normal to dryer skin. Feels incredible. Lasts all day. People often comment on the scent being bad but I don’t smell much of anything. Perfect product!
🏆Tartlette tubing mascara- LOVE! I use it with the primer. I’m on my second tube now. This replaced the Thrive Cosmetics tubing mascara I had been using for years. This one’s even better! Lasts until you take it off. Removes easily with water only.

PERFUME
🩷Kayali Eden Juicy Apple- smelled nice but not my fave. Would not buy a full size. Was fun to use an apple scent in September for a few days though.

Body, hair, and skincare.

These are so satisfying.

I love the CHANEL #1 line.

It has not been a good year for empties for me LOLOL. All routine pans have kept moving, but ive been so depressed that i haven't been as consistent as in the past. maybe by the end of the year ill have some BIG sexy pans 😭😂

Im very happy with my empties for the month of September! I hate the pump on the eos lotions and I am very excited for the squeeze top. I wasn't a big fan of the eos pink champagin body wash, the scent was very underwhelming. I also finally finished a VERY old bath and body works mini spray in sweet pea. It was a good month overall 😌

13 total empties for the month of September. I have 105 empties for the year to date!! It was a real heavy Bath and Bodyworks month, I’d rebuy all of them. Some of my favorite products of the month were the

- Chi Luxury black seed oil blend shampoo
- Dial gold bar soap, it’s always amazing
- Milani no pore zone primer
- Grande mascara conditioning peptide mascara

Feels good to finish them

Hi everyone! I figured I can add my emoji system in a photo edit than doing it on Reddit so I'm glad :)

It was a big month for my empties although I thought I would finish a few products more. But I decided to finish them peacefully and add them to the October list :)

I'm the most happy with the two makeup empties that I've managed to finish – the Innisfree no sebum powder and Rom&nd Glasting Melting Balm in 03 Sorbet Balm. I really enjoyed the color of this lippie!

Other than that, a lot of essentials and my repeating products but also two really good hair conditioners, my favorite spf and a cute bath bomb from Pikmin :)

I've caught a cold few days ago so I'm staying in bed now and don't use a lot of my products but I'm sure I will catch up later this month. The end of the year is coming and I'm excited about the 2026 empties summary! Happy panning everyone! I always enjoy seeing new pictures on here :)
