🩷 - love and repurchase
🫴🏻 - it was okay … found better but would use again
🙅🏻♀️ - not for me again
Dove intensive repair shampoo and conditioner- this was my first month using this product and I really loved it. My hair has been more hydrated and healthy
Naturium body wash - I used the energizer mandelic body wash I really did enjoy and saw a difference in my skin but I truly thought it was the KP body wash the whole time lol so now I have the KP and will report on that next month but overall I did enjoy it and would purchase again and again
The glow getter body wash omgggg I love love love clearly ! It smells so nice and makes my skin smooth … this stuff is pricey but is worth the price for the results it gives
Laneige lip mask - scent / shade berry and mint I love these products I will definitely repurchase I simply use this as a before bed lip mask , early mornings and casual day … I’ve used laneige for a while hasn’t done me wrong yet
Rhode lip - it’s okay … it’s in the scent watermelon ! I’ve gone through soooo many rhode lips I enjoyed them but now I’m over it … they are glossy but they don’t last long and my lips don’t stay hydrated it’s just a lip gloss really
Rhode butter barrier cream - OMG NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER AGAIN ( this is my fault ) I bought this cream during winter and kinda didn’t use it till recently. It worked very well in the winter for my skin when I did use it but as I started to use it on the later months, my skin would just break out. The cream is just so heavy I would get pimples all over my face constantly. I don’t think I’d ever purchase this again.
Trader Joe’s hand cream - if I could recommend one thing ever person should carry with them it’s this hand cream … it’s hydrating and such a great smell but not overpowering just fresh and the lotion is thiccccc so it doesn’t take much product to lotion your hands and arms
Skin script toner - cucumber hydration… this is a product I’ve been using for 2-3 years now, it was okay it worked for my skin I was nervous to try new things but boy am I glad I did … and because of my new toner I understand this toner was just okay it’s did its job but could’ve done better
Corthe rich m cream - this is a moisturizer I bought from my aesthetician I typically buy the skin script moisturizer but I want to try something new so she recommended this. It’s a Korean brand. It’s very nice but it’s a super water based cream so the texture just wasn’t all that to me I’m still on a hunt for a good moisturizer. It did give the glow effect to my face but other than that, I wasn’t wowd by it.
Crest tooth paste - it’s tooth paste it did its job it’s okay lol
Q2 Empties with Mini Reviews (Fungal Acne started, arm KP, & Haircare!)

I'm shocked at how many products I have and I'm trying to get through them all. I get discouraged when I randomly buy things so I'm going to do a no buy July into August. 🤞🤞🤞 (I had a recent first time flare with fungal acne in March-may so I'm still recovering from that and had to transition to some specific products for a while).

REPOST!!! (excluding the items I got in trouble for posting due to incorrect category)
Used up lots of really good products this month! I’m normally very picky but these were good overall. Repurchases are marked with hearts and thumbs down are things I will not repurchase. Others were just ok.
My not favorites (since these are what people tend to ask about):
-Living Proof- has a very strong scent that gave me a headache but otherwise did a fine job with heat protection
-Deeds roll-on-supposed to smell like dove intensive repair but did not and was nausea inducing
-D&G-smelled wonderful but had the staying power of a fart
-Dove hair oil-while I LOVED the intensive repair shampoo/conditioner, this hair oil was too heavy for me
-Davines liquid spell-didn’t do anything and smelt like black liquorice
June Empties + A Few Reviews
Feel free to ask questions about anything!
-The Garnier hairspray did NOT have enough hold for my curly hair in southern humidity unfortunately. replaced with a stronger one. If you want a light hold, this is a good option, the smell is nice
-The Amen collagen is an excellent option as it has 16mg as well as vitamin C and hyaluronic acid. Ive repurchased many times now.
-I used to think Magic Molecule was way too hyped but it's actually the best one I've tried so it's worth it

June Empties and declutters! (Mini reviews)
Noyz Rinse cycle (sample) - I do not get the hype. I literally smelled nothing when spraying on me, no guava no nothing! Will not purchase full size
MM Beach Walk- the coconut note on this turns sour on me, but other than that it smells like its name!
YSL Black Opium- classic, I like it but don’t love it therefore, won’t repurchase
IT superhero mascara - Actually very good and if I didn’t have a million mini mascaras to work through for project pan, I would repurchase!
Supersuite Body Scrub- very gentle, perfect for those with sensitive skin. I wouldn’t repurchase because I like harsher scrubs but I don’t hate this product.
Saltair body wash- amazing scent, I already repurchased and love this brand.
YTP face wash- Amazing, I actually got this for free from Sephora Rewards bazaar and again, once I’m finish working through my current face washes I will repurchase the refill!
Idea Bio-retinol body serum- lightweight, nice, but doesn’t feel necessary. Wouldn’t repurchase.
Osea body oil- now this was absolutely delicious! I don’t even like body oils but this absorbed in my skin so quickly and left me so hydrated. Absolutely will purchase a full size once I finish up with my current body care.
Eadem lip balm- overrated. I wouldn’t repurchase.
Topicals eye patches- I love these, a little treat for my eyes and when im consistent I do see results.
I had to declutter those Beekman products. No moisture from the hand lotion or body cream, extremely disappointed
June empties plus reviews
Time for another empties roundup!
❤️ Repurchase
💔 Discontinued
🤔 Maybe
❌ Wouldn’t repurchase
❤️ Maybelline Fit Me Matte Foundation 220N: Tried this for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by how easily it blended into the skin while keeping everything nicely mattified. I scraped out every last millilitre with a tiny silicone spatula because I loved how my makeup looked whenever I wore it. I've also been mixing it with my older MAC Studio Fix Fluid, which is a few shades too dark, to help use that up.
❤️ Watson's Facial Oil Absorbent Paper: Always have blotting papers within reach.
❤️ Biodance Collagen Mask: Used this for the first time and really enjoyed it. It sealed in all the moisture from the rest of my skincare routine, leaving my skin feeling plump and hydrated for hours afterwards. I wore it for around four hours rather than overnight and still had great results.
❤️ Goat Milk Soap: My tried-and-true brush cleanser. I've been using goat milk soap to deep clean my makeup brushes for years, and it never disappoints.
❤️ Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair: I've lost count of how many bottles I've finished. My skin responds so well to this serum—I always wake up with hydrated, clear-looking skin. I've already moved on to a 75ml bottle.
❌ The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid + B5: I've purchased this repeatedly for several years, but I'm now gravitating towards products that do more than one thing. I have one last smaller 30ml bottle to finish before I move on from this product.
❌ The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc: I only used this at night as I found it too heavy under makeup during the day. I won't be repurchasing it, especially since I still have three other niacinamide serums waiting to be used.
❌ The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Masque: I used this on my T-zone between facial appointments whenever I wanted to smooth out my skin texture. It worked well enough, but I won't be repurchasing.
🤔 Amika Frizz-Me-Not: I liked how hydrated my hair felt after using this, but I don't think it controlled frizz quite as well as Color Wow. I hated how much the pump leaked while travelling.
🤔 La Roche-Posay Sunscreen: I've repurchased this sunscreen for years and really love the level of protection it provides. That said, I'm keen to explore Japanese sunscreens next, as I'm looking for something more lightweight that wears even better under makeup.
❌ BABOR Ampoule Serum: I've definitely fallen into the trap of buying too many boxes of these after facial appointments. While they're all incredibly hydrating, I honestly can't tell much difference between the various versions. I've already given several boxes away and should be able to finish the rest of my stash by the end of the year.
🤔 L'Occitane Almond Milk Concentrate: This felt so smooth and nourishing on the skin, and the almond scent is lovely without being overpowering. A really nice product from the range but I have so many other hand creams to use from my inventory before considering repurchasing.
❤️ TheraBreath Rainforest Mint: This flavour tastes surprisingly earthy with a tropical twist, and it took me a few days to get used to it. I'd happily repurchase it once I've worked through the four other TheraBreath bottles waiting in my cupboard. Looking forward to finally getting this category under control!
❌ Superdrug Brunette Dry Shampoo: I picked this up while on holiday in the UK as an alternative to my favourite Batiste Brunette Dry Shampoo. It performed similarly, but it had a stronger scent and left behind more buildup than I would have liked.
💔 MAC Cleanse Off Oil: My absolute holy grail cleansing oil—and unfortunately, it was discontinued. This was the last bottle from my backup stash, and I still haven't found anything that rinses away as cleanly without leaving residue or a lingering fragrance. MAC's replacement cleansing oil costs more than double the price of this product, so I'm currently on the hunt for a K-beauty or J-beauty alternative.
🤔 Percy & Reed Volumising Dry Shampoo: I've enjoyed every Percy & Reed product I've tried, and this was no exception. It added great texture while absorbing oil between washes. I'd definitely consider buying the full size one day, although I still have a few cans of Batiste to work through first.
🤔 Briogeo Scalp Revival Rosemary Oil: This sample was perfect for travelling, as I don't like packing my Mielle Rosemary Mint Oil in case it leaks. It moisturised my scalp well before wash day, and the scent wasn't overpowering.

Oily acne prone skin
Fae skin milky toner- hydrating toner but will not replace ur moisturizer. I used in it summers. It doesn't claim for brightening and all but definitely soothes the skin maybe I'll repurchase in winters.
Not pore minimizing factors in just a hydrating toner.
Novology acne spot corrector- I have understood this overnight acne control is a myth and total bullshit. I get white puss filled acne and cystic acne it works on both in reducing redness and it takes it own sweet time minimum 7 days to shrink in size. But I will def repurchase it.
Benzoyl peroxide gel- Same thing like novology but this does not work on redness. It also takes min a week but it works gradually. I was patient.
(I used both of these on my acne.)
Loreal paris conditioner- It worked on my thin fine hair for 2 days good. Didn't cause me hairfall or weighed my hair down .
Can u guys plz tell if u guys have used foxtale and conscious chemist acne spot corrector and if it works??
2nd quarter empties.
- CocoKind - WNRP (maybe but no time soon) just so, so.
- CosRx Barrier cream - WRP 4 EVER.
- Kosassport deodorant - WRP.
- Stratia - WNRP. Ok but love CosRx more.
- JHAG - Juliette perfume. Nice but no compliments, so I skipped the full size.
- Alpyn moisturizer - WNRP - just ok. Hate the jar packages.

I'm 49, with ageing skin and rosacea, and have normal-to-dry skin. I live in the UK. I'm originally from Germany.
Face
Arencia Vitamin C Booster Shot - Great product for sensitive skin; that was my second or third tube, and the next one is in my drawer already. Unfortunately, only 5% Vitamin C, but still a good product. 8/10 WBA
Castello Monte Vibiano Hydrating Facial Mist - This was a present on a plane. It’s a luxury brand, but it didn’t wow me. 3/10 WNBA
Salted 03 Day and Night Barrier Cream - This is a niche brand from Germany. I liked the formula. They have rebranded this product and I bought the new version as well, but haven’t tried it. The cream has some other dupes that are a bit cheaper. I liked them too. 8/10 WBA
Isana Balance Serum - Love it, love it, love it! My HG right now after cleansing in the evening. I even asked someone on Facebook to buy it for me in Germany before she visited the UK. Highly recommended if you have dry skin and are in Germany. 10/10 WBA
Beauty of Joseon Revive Eye Serum - Uff annoying… I didn’t like it even though it was hyped on social media. It stung sometimes, and it didn’t do anything for me. It took ages to finish. 3/10 WNBA
Medik8 Crystal Retinal 10 - Love it and have started another tube already. Unfortunately, pretty expensive. 9/10 WBA
Essence Super Peptide glossy treatment - The perfect lip gloss for me. That’s all I can say. I loved using it; it has peptides, and it nourishes the lips. Nothing not to love. Even the price. 10/10 WBA
Theramid Azelaic Acid 15% - A long-term product in my routine. Perfectly formulated, but not cheap. 10/10 WBA
Primark Water Cream - My partner used this one, and he loved it. There are so many really good Primark products. 10/10 WBA
Lacura (Aldi) Hydrating Cleanser - One of the best cleansers I have ever tried. It’s a dupe for CeraVe, just better. 10/10 WBA
Purito Wonder Releaf Centella Daily Sun Lotion - One of the regular sunscreens I have in rotation and I use when travelling. Perfect for me. 10/10 WBA
Celimax Retinal Shot - Another great product I have used several tubes already. 10/10 WBA
Bebe Cleansing Wipes - I use cleansing wipes for travelling and mainly not for the face. More for all other purposes really when travelling, cleaning hands and whatever. I really liked them and already bought some more. 8/10 WBA
Johnson’s 5-in-1 Moisturising cleansing wipes - Another very decent product I used when travelling, mainly not for face cleansing. 8/10 WBA
Geek & Gorgeous Sunscreen Zero Feel SPF 50 - Another perfect sunscreen. Highly recommended, even for oily skin. 10/10 WBA
Roc Firming Serum Stick - Good product, but expensive. Still, it took me nearly a year to finish it, so okay. I already bought a new one. It had an impact; my neck looks better. 8/10 WBA
Catrice Skin Like Tinted Moisturiser - The perfect make-up product for those who don’t want to spend an hour doing make-up. It covered my rosacea well and is easy to apply even for untalented people like me. I apply it like a moisturiser with my fingers and then only add concealer at certain points, and add blush. Done. It serves as a foundation for me. I already bought several more tubes. It’s only £6. Bargain! 10/10 WBA
Face & Eye Masks
ESPA Isotonic Hydra Gel Eye Mask - Didn’t wow me. Did nothing for me, just a mediocre eye mask. 2/10 WNBA
Cutem Laser Mask - A bit too soaked for my taste. The alcohol gives a cooling feeling, but I didn’t like the overall feeling. Not a sheet mask I enjoyed. 2/10 WNBA
Garnier Moisture Bomb Sheet Mask Sakura - I should have known better. Limonene is high on the ingredients list, and my skin is revolting. I had to take it off after 3 minutes. It was too stingy. It’s a no from me. The sheet itself was nice and thick. 2/10
Body
Rituals The Ritual of Sakura Whipped body cream - I emptied it pretty quickly. I liked it very much: the fragrance and the texture. Not sure if it has the best impact, but I enjoyed using it. 8/10 WBA
Rituals The Ritual of Jing Shower Foam - Another great Rituals product; I emptied it quickly and liked it. I already have a second one. 8/10 WBA
Lacura Sleep Hand Cream - A Neom dupe from Aldi I keep buying from Vinted because it was a one-off product. It’s even better than the Neom product itself. The scent is pretty strong, but it is so nice to smell it while trying to sleep. I hope Aldi brings it back. 10/10 WBA
Shiseido 10% Urea Hand- and Footcream - A decent foot cream, but I have better ones. 7/10 WNBA
Balea Schrundensalbe Foot Cream - That’s my favourite foot cream. It has 25% Urea and does an amazing job for my very dry skin. 10/10 WBA
Sure Eucalyptus & Coconut Water Antiperspirant - Sure is my antiperspirant for decades; I find it stronger than its competitors, and I love trying the limited editions like this one. 9/10 WBA
E45 Hydrating Lotion Spray - I never used a lotion spray before. This was a pleasant new discovery. I loved it and will buy it again. Unfortunately, it was empty pretty quick, but my skin loved it. 10/10 WBA
Hair
Pantene Grow Abundant Scalp Serum - I've used it for over a year, and it does a really good job. 8/10 WBA
Johnson’s Baby Shampoo - Ha, this is my brush cleanser. Does a really good job. 8/10 WBA
Perfume
Body Stories Salted Caramel EDT - A Home Bargains perfume. Too strong to use on me, so we used it as a room spray in the bathroom, which worked well because it was so strong. 6/10 WNBA
Primark Sandy Beach EDP - Another great perfume from Primark. I’m a bit sad it’s empty. Loved it. 10/10 WBA
Primark Sweet Pistachio - Dito. Another favourite I even got compliments for. 10/10 WBA
Thank you for reading! Till next month...
Recent empties May/June with reviews
Biodance collagen masks - not worth it, take too long and you can get similar results from products that take way less effort (byoma and medicube)
Naturium face cleanser - would repurchase, not too expensive and works well as a second cleanser and doesn’t break me out
Ouai body cream in st Barts - I love the st Barts scent and have the Deo. The body cream was such a good texture, very balmy if that makes sense, but the scent is overpowering and I got sick of it. Prefer the scent as a Deo as it’s a bit lighter
Aveeno body scrub - LOVE this for my daily shower. It’s a gentle scrub , if you gym daily and sweat I would recommend this as I just love to use this first before shower gel as I feel like I’m scrubbing off the sweat or any dried sweat first. Will def repurchase.
Therabreath mouthwashes - go through this regularly and still don’t have a favourite version, they are all similar
Mightypatch - they are good on pimples with a head as they pull the gunk out. They aren’t gonna help under the skin pimples or pimples that are almost healed (at least for me anyway)
Tower28 skin tint - my 2nd tube, really good daily skin tint I love it, already repurchased
Naturium multi peptide moisturiser - this is like my 4th tube and already repurchased, it’s a perfect morning moisturiser for me and doesn’t break me out. I use something a bit heavier in evenings.
Q2 empties with mini reviews!
Garnier Erase it All Makeup Cleansing Balm: I freaking love this cleansing balm!!! You get so much for a great price. It’s the only one I’ve tried that melts beautifully in my hands and doesn’t do that annoying clumpy thing. This is becoming HG status ⭐️
Erborian Centella Barrier Cream sample: I really like this even though I have oily skin. It’s great at night when I don’t use tretinoin. I’m almost done with a full size too. Might repurchase.
Anua Niacinamide 10 + TXA 4: Wanted to love this for my PIE, but it didnt help. I know there are opinions on the consistency being too tacky, but I personally didn’t mind it because I felt moisturized after it sunk in. Would not repurchase.
Good Molecules Ultra Hydrating Face Oil: Good for a simple, affordable face oil. I always use an oil after I do an at-home peel. Right now I’m using a Trader Joe’s one. I truly have no preference on these products! Wouldn’t repurchase since I like to try different brands.
MUAC 25% Mandelic Acid Peel: A wonderful, light intro to at-home peels! I watched soooo many videos for this. It made my skin so incredibly soft and radiant. Next up I’m going to use the Platinum Skin Care 40% Mandelic acid peel.
Trader Joe’s Daily Facial Sunscreen: It doesn’t really sink into the skin, so it got everywhere. I enjoy that it’s clear, but hate that the SPF is only 40. The big body sunscreen in the purple tube seems like it’s the same exact product and much more cost effective (although both are affordable!) Won’t repurchase because I’m on a Korean sunscreen kick.
Starface Hydro-Star Pimple Patches: These don’t draw gunk out like the Mighty Patch ones do. I do like that when I wear them my toddler points at me and goes “starrrrr” and it feels like he’s calling me a star 😂
Maybelline Superstay Powder Foundation in 220: As an oily girl, I adore powder foundations. This one worked okay but I wish it had more in the pan. I went through it at record speed. Nothing works as well as the OG Mac one though. Wouldn’t repurchase so I can try something new!
Milani Make it Last Original Setting Spray: I feel like I had really high expectations for this and it fell short. I also realized I need something more matte. Hence the next product.
Charlotte Tillbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray Matte: Now this spray kept me matte and my makeup from sliding off my face! I do HATE the nozzle. It’s cheap and sprays huge, uneven drops. I’m now using the Danessa Myricks one and it is perfection.
Elf Color Corrector: Muted my rosacea relatively well, but due to my skin tone it left me a little ashy. Now I’m trying to work on the root cause instead of covering it up via vitamin C.
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream: 2016 called and I answered. Too drying for my tastes now, but nostalgic! Wouldn’t repurchase because I’m now more into balms/oils.
Girlactik Lash Play Duo: Meh, very wet formula and transferred to my lids. Also very fragranced? I like the idea of a dual ended mascara in theory (also emptied Dibs a while back) but none have worked out in practice. Would not repurchase.
B&BW Autumn Drive Body Wash: From love to hate. This scent is strongggg and I got tired of it pretty quickly. Sped up the use even more by using it for shaving. Wouldn’t repurchase this scent, but I do like their body washes because they lather really well. Never buy full price, though. There are always sales!
Tressame Heat Tamer: I had this for so many years. I hope it worked 😂 I rarely use heat on my hair. Even though the nozzle locks, it still leaked. Would not repurchase.
Kristin Ess Leave in Conditioner: I learned late that I needed to be using wayyy more than I was! After that my hair was super soft and less frizzy. Wouldn’t repurchase just because there are so many on the market now and I want to try different ones. Next up is Pantene!
Herbal Essences Conditioner in Chamomille: I bought this for nostalgic reasons and boy did it deliver! Sometimes you need to be transported back to childhood, and this scent does it for me. Will repurchase eventually.

June Empties and Mini Reviews
The Curly Company Curl Cream 200ml - if you want ringlets and no crunch or stickiness, this is the curl cream to use. A tube lasts me 4 months. Boots stopped selling it unfortunately, but I have a few tubes left.
Ziaja Intimate Wash 200ml - my friend gave me this when I said I had itching DOWN THERE. PSA if you go to your doctor repeatedly, they test you for yeast and it's not yeast but it's something that never goes away for TWO years, you may have the autoimmune disease lichen sclerosis and you may need a specialist to diagnose and to prescribe a strong steroid cream. Turns out I didn't need or benefit from this wash because of this, but it smelt nice and was super gentle.
Ziaja Shea Hand Cream 100ml - this wasn't thick enough to be a handcream, I used it on my legs, this was a kind gift from a Polish friend (it's a Polish brand), but I would not purchase.
Tatcha The Liquid Silk Canvas Primer 10g - expensive but good value, lasted at least 6 months of daily use. I liked it more and more as I used it. I think it suits spring summer more than autumn winter. Applies easily from the pump, spreads easily, doesn't pill and my makeup did last longer and look better.
Avène Eau Thermale Spring Water For Sensitive Skin 50ml - I didn't buy this, I was clearing someone's desk at work and they'd left it. I thought I'd try it, knowing it's just water in a spray can. How silly I thought! But... I'm actually a convert, it's so refreshing and handbag sized. When it's been 32oC+, this feels amazing! Would purchase surprisingly!
L'Oréal Elvive Full Restore 5 Restoring Conditioner 300ml - didn't love this, my hair felt rough after using it.
Radox Feel Indulged Tropical Blends Shower Gel 450ml - ok, good value, would buy again.
Nivea Black & White Invisible Clear Antiperspirant 250ml - ok, but prefer other scents, didn't leave white marks.
