Girlfriend made plans over our plans? AIO

So, we had plans Sunday and Monday. we were literally on the phone, talking about getting a couples massage, going tubing, etc.

then she gets a call and says be right back and hangs up.

30 minutes later i get a voice message saying she has to drive 4 hours away to pickup a car title because the dealership won’t ship it, and monday is her only day off this week to go get it.

ok, sucks but that’s fine. i figure since my city (we live an hour apart) is in between, we would just go.

but she made plans with her friend to go 4 hours away inbetween, so she is literally going to drive back an hour and then 5 hours to the city just to pick up her friend.

but…. we had plans that day all week. and even if the things we were going to do can’t workout, we still have that day we have been planning.

so i feel not a priority because she didn’t even communicate these new plans she made 10 minutes after talking about our plans.

i would think she would say “let me talk to my boyfriend since we have plans and figure this out”

but she says she wants to go with her friend. i guess hanging out with her sounds a lot more fun even if it means driving backwards an hour just to pick her up even if she will already be with me.

so my girl randomly drops on me today that she wants to work at twin peaks and went in for her best friend to pickup hiring paperwork and she got offered a job and wants to take it.

personally she dropped it on me without a conversation, during a stressful part of my day so i got pissed off. i took offense, and it got into a fight.

my argument: it shows a lack of respect in the relationship to allow that energy inside of our relationship. having to flirt with guys and getting sexualized publicly by customers coworkers and manager is a job for a specific kind of girl and especially not one in a real relationship with plans to marry and move abroad (like we do)

she doesn’t see how it’s selling her body, and just wants to make money.

i did research and discovered that they also to “body comp” weekly and take pics to send to corporate for approval of body, makeup, etc. the worst girls get the worst shifts with worst sections.

i’m not convinced she doesn’t want the attention, as it’s happening 100% of the time there. if you want money, there are other jobs.

she tends to follow her friend around and do what her friends are always doing. i don’t respect that too much.

she says i can’t tell her what to do and this is a breakneck thing that came out of literally nowhere.

boys, can your girl switch up and go work at a twin peaks? we have so much good things in our relationship. is this revealing something about her that i don’t want to accept?
