Thoughts on tirzepatide? (3 weeks in, dosage questions & short-term plan)

Hi! I’ve been using tirzepatide for about 3 weeks now, but I’ve been overthinking some things I've read online regarding long-term effects on the pancreas, kidneys, etc. I’m just wondering how likely that actually is?

For context, I get my supply from a trusted doctor. Before starting, I was required to get a CBC, FBS, and urinalysis. My doctor cleared me, checked my weight (84 kg) and height (5'3''), and noted that I was in the mid-obesity range.

Regarding the dosage, my setup might be different from what I usually see others post about. My vial is 30mg. My doctor had me start at 30 units on the syringe because she felt a lower dose wouldn't be as effective. After 5 days I went up to 50 units, another 5 days at 60 units, and my last injection was 75 units. My doctor said we’ll cap it there for now, and once this vial runs out, I’ll move to a 60mg vial (meant to last 2 months).

I’m only planning to use this short-term because I'm worried about long-term side effects—especially since I already lost 3 kg after just 2 weeks. I also have a friend who used it for just 2–3 months; she said that after she stopped, her cravings came back, but her food portions remained small.

After this next phase, I plan to stop as well. What do you guys think?

Tirzepatide

Hi, I've been taking tirzepatide for almost two weeks and have already lost 2 kg. My symptoms include feeling nauseous after eating even a small amount—it feels like I'm going to puke, and I even vomited yesterday despite only eating a tiny portion of food. Are there specific foods I should avoid besides fatty foods? Also, is this normal, and will these symptoms eventually go away, because they make me feel terrible.

NTC Mediation with DITO

I will be having a Zoom mediation with NTC and DITO, and this will be my first time participating in this kind of thing. Please help. Any suggestions on what should I expect over this?

History is, last year, July 2025, I subscribed to DITO Unli 5G Postpaid. I used this WiFi in my apartment as I work from home. At first, it’s good, though may days na ang bagal talaga, but I just think na during those times, maulan kasi kaya siguro, kako, mabagal. And FYI, before the agent installed it, nagkaroon pa ng, like, WiFi test if malakas ang signal around the area, and it was good.

Until August came, bigla ako nawalan ng WiFi connection at all. As in, the light at the modem was red or orange na ata that time. So I immediately called their customer service. Super tagal nun before I could contact them. I pleaded with them to fix the issue within the day because I had just started my work-from-home job, and having a stable internet connection was one of the most important requirements. Since I was still a new employee, I couldn’t simply tell my manager that I had no internet without having a backup connection because I was afraid it might affect my job. Or worst I might get fired.

So I waited for DITO to fix my WiFi within the day, but I received nothing. So no choice ako but to go back sa house ng parents ko na may WiFi. Binitbit ko yung buong PC setup ko pabalik sa bahay namin without planning on going back sa apartment ko with the setup. Temporary lang ako naka-apartment because I’m reviewing for my boards, so nilipat ko na lang yung setup ko sa bahay namin since mas stable ang WiFi doon, and originally after my review for board exam, babalik na talaga ako sa house namin. (PS: I didn’t left my apartment I just moved my wfh set-up sa bahay namin permanently then bumabalik nalang ako sa apartment ko to review)

To make sure the issue wasn’t just because of my apartment’s location, I also tried using the DITO modem at my parents’ house. Unfortunately, it still didn’t work, and the modem’s light remained red or orange.

When September came, I received a billing statement from DITO. That reminded me to email them and request the disconnection of my service since I was no longer using it. At first, I kept receiving repetitive emails from different agents. I explained my situation several times, but it felt like I was just going in circles.

Around October 2025, I was informed that my service had already been disconnected. At that time, I only had an outstanding balance of around ₱1,000, and I was even planning to request that it be waived since I wasn’t able to use the service properly.

However, in November, I received another disconnection notice showing the same ₱1,000 balance. Then, just four days later, I suddenly received another billing statement from DITO amounting to more than ₱30,000. I was shocked because I believed my service had already been disconnected. I immediately emailed DITO again to question the billing, but I continued receiving repetitive responses from different agents instead of a proper resolution. Because of that, I decided to file a complaint with the NTC. Unfortunately, I never received a response from DITO regarding my complaint at that time.

Throughout 2025, the collection calls, text messages, and billing emails never really stopped. Sometimes they would stop for around two or three months, but eventually they would start again.

Up to this year, 2026, the calls and texts never stopped. Sometimes the billing texts, calls, and emails would stop then I would thought baka ok na and every time I answer the call never sila sumasagot pabalik they will just hang up the call without saying anything.

Until last July 26, the said law firm representing DITO emailed me that I needed to pay a balance amounting to ₱40k. So I had enough. I called NTC over this, saying it has been one year and this still hasn’t been resolved, and now we’re scheduled for mediation.

Any advice? Hueheu, I’m kind of nervous.
