Hello all,

I just found this thread so new here and a fan of the M&P Compact. Unfortunately, I sheared off the screw head of my Holosun Optic and the range sent it back to the company as they could not get it out without damage. That said, I have been trying different 9mm pistols like Eschelon and PDP. They are great but I really like the feel and carry of my Compact. Now I am wondering if buying another is wise for all the same usable components like magazines and holsters I have purchased. Has anyone ever gone this route, having two of the same pistol? Does anyone like the full size a lot better than the smaller grip on the Compact? I have only shot the full size 9mm a couple of times with irons.

Hi all,
Just finished Nick Cutter’s The Dorians and The Troop. They were just ok. Nothing too gripping or actually original. He even admits he uses a lot of influence. His movies will be in the line of The Thing. That was fantastic and I love that kind of isolation horror where you don’t know who or what the monster is throughout. I also enjoy short stories like Thinner. Any recommendations under about 400 pages would be great!
