in a fantasy setting that lacks a sun in the current realm i’m tweaking stuff in, and there’s this sun forge that focuses light from aurora borealis via mirrors in a sunless realm (do to a long explanation the sun had been “shattered” into the aurora borealis unto the eternal night known as shards to the natives after the last sun had been destroyed aztec mythos style), into a big ahh divine crystal that focuses the light from the mirrors into what they call a “chalice” with gold, obsidian and fresh blood in it (weird lore reasons), the heat beam melts and combines what’s in the chalice and from the bottom it casts out a non-newtonian glass like substance that’s molded and into armor while being struck to be forged it hardens because of cooling and being a non-newtonian fluid it settles into the almost indestructible glass that the people making are known for but also as a down side, when the sun forge gets activated all the heat in the area gets drawn to the crystal once the solar energy gets focused into it and causes flash freezing across the city the forge is in, often killing a few very not cold acclimated people during said process. i think i need help progressing this idea because for the life of me it feels like something is missing that i can throw in the whole process to make it more grandiose to fit the whole motifs ive got going on with The Order of Saint Bori (inhabitants of the city that holds the sun forge and are the holy protectors of the realm of the broken sun, being the vanguard sent into a Tangled Shore (a gate to there equivalent of a sea inspired hell) trapped within a temple that they settled there to take control of said portal under jurisdiction of a mortal made god)
coming here from mk, sf n dbfz i feel like i can’t get anything from the move sets to work, making me feel slow ngl, i even played the tutorial and still didn’t really understand wth im doing wrong and not to mention i genuinely cant figure out the block to save my life😭🙏
