Visit Montreal
Hello everyone!
I'm visiting Montreal in the end of September for 5 days. I've built my itinerary ( btw mostly from browsing this sub, and I really appreciate all your responses). I would really appreciate if you guys could take a look at my plan and say how realistic it is. Also, could you please share places where I can buy inexpensive and tasty food? Maybe some decent cafes :) I will be eating once a day moslty and my budget will be up to $50 a day.
MY ITINERARY PLAN:
Day 1
- Old Montreal
- Old Port
- a river-to-mountain walk from Pointe-à-Callière Archaeology and History Complex
- Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal
- Montreal City Hall
- World Trade Centre Montréal
- Centre de commerce mondial
- A jazz brunch at Modavie (French restaurant)
- Place d'Armes
Day 2
- Mount Royal
- Saint Joseph’s Oratory
- Beaver Lake Fountain
- Camillien-Houde belvedere
- Kondiaronk Belvedere
- Plateau-Mont-Royal neighbourhood
Day 3
- Château Dufresne
- Montreal Botanical Gardens
- BioDome
- Jean Talon
Day 4 – 1 day trip to the Quebec City (??) - Not sure if the Quebec City day trip is worth it, your thoughts?
Day 5
- Parc Jean-Drapeau
- Tour de Lévis
