hi guys! i’m interested in singing and joining either nus choir and chamber singers as they both sound rlly good. Any advice on which i should choose? Thanks!
Hi everyone, I could really use some outside perspectives because this is my first experience with anything like this.
I’m 19 and a virgin. I’ve never had a boyfriend or been physically intimate with anyone before. The guy I’m seeing is 31 and has told me he’s been in around 10 relationships, so he’s much more experienced than I am.
Before our second date, he suggested we hang out at his house. I told him multiple times that I wasn’t comfortable because it was only our second time meeting and I wanted to get to know him more first. We even had a phone call where I explained that I didn’t want to go to his place yet because I wanted everything to happen genuinely, not because I felt convinced.
He eventually agreed to meet me at a café instead.
After we met at the café, though, we somehow ended up going back to his house anyway. We cuddled on the couch, and then he became much more physical.
Throughout the time we were there, I told him “no” multiple times when he tried to escalate things. He kept kissing me, touching me, trying to get into my pants, and at one point he pulled my pants down completely even though I still didn’t want to have sex. He also touched my genital area and left me with a hickey that I now have to hide.
I eventually gave in to some things because he kept pushing, but I never agreed to have sex. Afterward, he told me that on Friday he wants to have sex with me because I “didn’t allow him” to this time.
Here’s why I’m so conflicted:
I genuinely like him.
We have amazing chemistry.
I really enjoyed kissing him, and I even miss kissing him.
Parts of the physical intimacy felt really good.
But at the same time, when I left, I felt pressured. Before the date I had already told him I needed more time and didn’t want to be rushed. During the date, I felt like I had to keep saying no.
I’m struggling because I don’t know if I’m just inexperienced and this is what dating is like when one person is much more experienced, or whether my boundaries genuinely weren’t respected.
I also don’t know how to interpret him saying he wants to have sex on Friday because I didn’t let him this time.
Has anyone been in a similar situation, either as the less experienced partner or the more experienced one? How would you interpret this?
hey guys was wondering how the NUS sports CCAs are and if they are regular practices for them as i couldn’t find much about them online.
fyi im an incoming freshman not staying by on campus and heard that the best way to make the most of having fun in uni is participating in ccas.
i’m particularly interested in the tennis one but i don’t see any recent updates on the ig either…
i love him but he’s so old… i don’t even care about how he feels about me, whether this is reciprocated. i just know i love him and staring at him all day.
he’s my mentor at work so i sit very close to him to learn and all so i naturally js talk to him a lot and disturb him a lot and flirt a lot and joke around a lot and people around us our colleagues ship us together jokingly but he keeps saying im too young and he thinks i am taken.
pleaseeee give me advice for this.
PS i started telling ppl around us that i was taken cos there was another guy at work that was trying to chase me but i rlly didn’t want him and anything so i told them im taken. but now i actually fell hard for someone and he’s literally the last person i wanted to find out i have this “bf”.
i want him so bad ughhh.
