Right-sided pain 1 month after rhinoplasty; anyone experienced this?

I had my rhinoplasty about 1 month ago and I’ve been experiencing some pain on the right side of my nose/face, as well as a headache on the right side.

I’ve also noticed a slightly swollen line on the right side next to the lower part of my nasal bridge. I’m not sure if the swelling is related to the pain/headache or if they’re completely separate.

Has anyone experienced one-sided pain or headaches around 4–5 weeks after rhinoplasty? And did it eventually go away on its own?

I’m wondering whether this can still be part of the normal healing process at this stage.

Upper lip problems after rhinoplasty

I can’t move my upper lip properly. When will this go away? It’s so frustrating. My upper lip stays over my upper teeth when I smile, and I can barely smile properly. I’m one month post-op.

Could I have caused a dent in my nose? Really stressed (1 month post-op)

I did something really stupid last night. I wanted to look at the sun through eclipse glasses, and I accidentally brought the glasses down too hard. I didn’t think they were going to touch my nose, but the sharp bottom edge ended up hitting the area just next to the bridge of my nose. I immediately felt a very sharp, intense pain in that spot.

There was no bleeding, but I’m worried that I may have caused a dent or somehow damaged my nose. What do you think?

I have a problem and I would really appreciate your help. (3,5 weeks post-op)

I accidentally applied the tape around my nose a little too tightly, which left a noticeable pressure mark around my nose. On the left side, there is a very slight purple discoloration, and the skin just above my nostrils also looks whiter/paler than usual.

It has been almost a week and a half now, and the mark still hasn’t completely disappeared. It has faded slightly, but it is still clearly visible.

Do you think this will eventually go away and return to normal? I’m really worried that I may have caused permanent damage to the skin. I would really appreciate your advice.

Slight bump to my nose (17 days post-op)

I bumped my nose slightly (17 days post-op) while hugging my mom (very stupid of me). Afterwards, it felt a bit tender and sensitive. Could this have damaged the surgical result?

Tape mark under nasal tip

I’ve developed an indentation/pressure mark on my nose, just below the tip, from the tape. Will this go away?

I’ve been wearing the tape all day. I was told to wear it only in the evenings, or that I could choose to wear it all day if I preferred. I’ve been wearing it continuously. Is that okay, or could it be a problem?

Thank you!

How did you wash your face with tape after rhinoplasty?

How do you keep your face clean after rhinoplasty?

Because of the tape, I feel like I can’t properly clean my face, especially around my nose. Before surgery I had dry skin, but now my nose has become very oily and I’m getting rough skin and pimples around it.

I’m 2 weeks post-op. How did you guys clean your face and nose during this stage of recovery? Any tips?
