Update on Fixing 1970s Realistic MTA-8

Now that I have it in hand, I can see more of the problems. The volume dial is extremely sensitive and most of the time turning in only leads to incredibly loud static. Sometimes I can get it dialed so that I can hear the stations. The audio has a slight bit of static but with a radio this age I kinda expected that. Does anyone know anything about the volume control issue and how I might fix that? Thank you so much!

Fixing late 1970s Realistic MTA-B AM/FM Radio Model 12-689

Hello, I’m looking to fix an old Realistic radio from the 1970s. The light comes on but it doesn’t seem to get a signal. Does anyone know what might be wrong or what might need to be replaced? I’d really like to get it working so it won’t just be a display item. Hopefully it wouldn’t be too much because they don’t seem to be very expensive radios to begin with. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Help complete my decade long goal of 100%ing Battlefront 2015

Hello, everyone! It’s good to see so many people still love these games. Since Christmas 2015 my goal has been to 100% Battlefront. I got most of it done in 2016 and have slowly chipped away at the last few over the years. The last one I need is to win one of each of the original game modes. The only problem is that I have never been good at hero hunt and now I am too rusty and the servers are too empty to do this. It would mean a lot to me if I could get a group together to help me get this last achievement. I’m on Xbox I’d anyone would be interested. Thank you all so much!

Is it possible to get Vulcan Power Armor without a ridiculous amount of invested time?

Hi everyone, I’ve been solo playing 76 for a while now and have put an ungodly amount of hours into the game. My play style has always been more about exploring and building over combat, so I have never really gotten into Raids. Recently, I’ve been trying to collect all the power armor sets and the only one left is the Vulcan. I even taught myself how to grind solo expeditions to get Union, but I can’t do raids alone. At the moment, I’m learning more about perk cards and how to stock enough ammo even though I don’t have fallout 1st. But to get to the point, I’m wondering how much time realistically it would take to get Vulcan even if I found a great team that could help me through. I’d really love to complete my collection, but there are of course limits to how much time I think is reasonable to do it. This is my first time actually reaching out to the wider community so thank you all for any help and advice!

Kienzle World Clock Question

Hello! I picked this up for only $2 at an estate sale a couple weeks ago. It was missing some screws in the back and has some external corrosion but it still works when a battery is put in. I am wondering two things. What year this particular model might be from and, if anyone knows, how to properly set the time taking the second wheel of numbers into account. If anyone has any information, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you!

Cairoware Identification and information help (United States)

Hello! I found this in a thrift store yesterday for $10. I could tell that it was old, but I didn’t know that much about it. I’ve since found some things that make me believe it’s antique Cairoware (to my knowledge) but I can’t seem to figure out age. I forgot to put a tape measure next to it but I’d say it’s a little less than two feet in diameter. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
