É triste ver que o live action de Mulan mudou a mensagem pq de acordo com os chineses a princesa ficou muito "ocidental", tiraram a linda mensagem para crianças de"mulheres podem ser fortes assim como homens e é com esforço e inteligência que você pode ser um herói/heróina" pra "você tem que nascer especial para ser um herói ou SUA BU-(linhagem familiar) VAI PERECER, COM VOCÊ, NO INFERNO!!!", triste apenas...

Man, the amount of controversies this remake got were insane, I miss when the only "drama" Mulan was involved was because of a McDonald's sauce that got popular again because of Rick and Morty and people were crashing out because of shortage

But you know the funniest part?, the 98 Mulan despite being a success on the west flopped on china flopped because the Chinese said that Mulan was too "westernized" (also they considered the funny dragon mushu bad because dragons are important for china's mythology), so the writers and directors (that were four white westerners btw) wanted to make something more based on the original poem of Mulan yet still relying on the cartoon Version (one of the directors Niki caro said she wanted to make it more "real" yet added witches, a Phoenix and "tokusatsu-fu" also Mulan was northern china but her house is on the south, American geography knowledge lol) and the result... The film flopped not just in the west but also in china! Which for me is just... (Chef kiss) delicious taste of karma~

I know probably shantae is probably not ideal for this, seeing how many serious versions of colorful things tend to fail (like pacman with shadow labyrinth, shadow the hedgehog game or the Snyderverse in general) but I think a serious shantae game can be good if it's done right, i think like a game with a more gritty art style and gameplay like the shank duology, cool rock/metal Arabian-influenced combat music and the concept like samurai jack (from a cool cartoon network to a serious dark adult swim show), I don't want like a sequel or reboot, no, but a alternative version, that uses the universe of shantae but is not related to the lore, It's just a new story in a new universe

But it's just me, what you guys think, do you support it or not?
