Hello everyone,
Recently, I have inherited my grandfather's old RC model plane kits that he had kept unopened in storage, some of which he inherited from his father. I know that some of them were purchased in South Africa, and others here in Canada. I know they are all at least over 30 years old and would be classified as Vintage.
I am looking for help in finding out the prices of the models and what they are worth.
Almost all of them are in good condition, from what I can see, with only one having some water markings on the box, which has faded the paper label. I have taken photos of all of the boxes and any that I could open without taking off the tape.
Please let me know whatever you can about these models:
Here are the photos of the planes and what I know about each one based on my rough research.
Plane 1:
Spirit: GreatPlanes
Was able to open it, as the tape had been cut at some point. Everything inside looks untouched and wrapped/in its place.
Box has no visible damage.
Plane 2:
Carl Goldberg Electra
The box has some marks, but it is in good condition. I did not open it as it was still sealed with tape.
Plane 3:
Middle Stik:
I was able to open this, but I am unsure if there are parts that have been built at all or have been moved. What I can tell you is that the box was much heavier than the others. Unsure if this is the actual plane model or something else inside. So if anyone knows, please confirm.
Plane 4:
Buffalo 40
The box was in good condition, and I did not open it. We know the kit was bought in South Africa before 1980-ish because of the South African Rand price sticker
Plane 5:
MK Happy 40
Box in good condition, did not open.
Plane 6:
Kadet Mark II:
Plane 7:
F-14A Tomcat "Wolfpack"
Plane 8:
EP yellow Club ARF
This one has water staining on the outside of the box and labelling. I have not opened it to see inside yet, but it is still taped shut.
Additionally, we have found one partially made model, which I am unsure if it is part of any of these here or if they are from a different model from a box I could not find.
Thank you, anyone, for your help. This is greatly appreciated!

I am looking for help identifying all of the models and finding out who would be interested in them/who I can sell them to that enjoys collecting or building these models. I want them to go to people who care about them, just like my grandfather did, while also helping me with my university costs.
