Which honey variety goes well with the rich creamy goodness of Kraft Dinner cheese?

I have enough for maybe a gallon.

I trained an audio model that can generate infinite one-shots for music production and turn text prompts into fully playable synths. I'm not only releasing the model but I've also released a video on exactly how I did it (and the inferencing pipeline to let others make text based synths.)

Okay so I've been doing independent audio research for a while now. The ultimate dream of this work was actually getting an AI to respond not only to instruments but also timbre itself as separate controllable things.

Think a Grand Piano can sound both Warm / Gritty but also Cold / Sparkly. Its still a piano though.

This level of control wasn't found in any models out there - so I decided to sit down and train my own.

Getting consistent timbre-locked keybeds that actually LOCKS across multiple diffusion calls was hard af but I did it.

I documented the full journey here for those who want to learn a bit or be entertained.

There is also a longer walkthrough if you just want to see the keybeds in action.

I've also provided full write ups on the inferencing pipeline associated with the interface so this should allow basically anyone else to go and vibe code their own text to synths if they wanted :)

This is probably the coolest thing I own now. RE Outbreak signed by the voice actors for Kevin, Mark, Yoko, Jim & David. Also signed by the guy who basically did all the mocap for the game.

Also got RE Deadly Silence signed by Chris Redfields actor from the original 1996 FMV - Charlie Kraslavsky.

Met them at the Toronto Fan Expo. Just a really nice group of people.

Layers of Fear - The Final Masterpiece physical edition.

I'm trying to figure out if ALL versions of the upcoming physical release of this come with the art book and other special stuff.

Looking online through pre order pages on vgp / pnp and not a single pre order lists the physical stuff that was supposed to come with the release....just wondering if I'm missing something here OR there is actually some other sku that'll be released.

Info here on what is supposed to come with physical.

This is such a weird release. It's been out for so long that it's already 40% off digital already.

Debating on releasing this....

Found it in my WIP folder from a few months ago

Happy with the drum changeup at 1:02 - leaning into the Tresillo drum pattern.

Minimap toggle and blue overlays

Is there any way to just turn off the UI minimap without it nuking the ability to check it at all?

I just want a clean ui but they seem to have paired them together as an all or nothing thing which doesn't make any sense to me so I'm hoping I somehow missed a different setting somewhere.

Further does anyone else think there should be a way to turn off the blue checkpoint quest markers in the overworld? Getting blue markers every 2 feet is sort of annoying so you'd think they've also let you turn these off too....

Liking the game so far but yeah they made some odd UI customization choices (and lack there of)

I've been working on a open source(and free) text-to-keyboard...would people use it?

For reference the lead synths in this were generated entirely from text. Not like a preset matcher or anything but a true model that understands text descriptions and their relationships to timbre making it able to generate infinite instruments on description alone. You still write your own melodies of course like any other synth but instead of just say...browsing through presets you can just describe the sound in your head and get a synth / keybed directly.

My plan is to release it entirely open source, for free and able to be run off of consumer hardware.

This was created with all my own audio / data and months of work btw....I'm also working on a process video to go along with the release as well because talk is cheap and it makes more sense actually showing people how I designed it from the ground up.

I am not a fan at all of generative full-music AI....it literally sucks all the fun out of writing (This doesn't even factor in they're created by pillaging other peoples music and I absolutely refuse to engage with any of that)

However I am trying to explore where the tech can actually promote the creative process rather than replace it outright (along with releasing everything for free / open source as opposed to ever locked behind a vst) hence why I've been tackling this for the past few months.

Is the switch 1 version of Digimon Story Time Stranger the exact same post game with a switch 2 patch?

I'm debating getting this for switch 1 since I heard there is a free upgrade patch on switch 2 but I read somewhere that you don't get the quality vs performance toggle playing it this way so wanted to check before I go buy this....

Thanks in advance!

I was the guy from a few months ago who released a SOTA music sample generator - Soon Ill be releasing a text-to-synth with the same rich capabilities - all free & open source.

For contest my last post is here

https://www.reddit.com/r/StableDiffusion/s/fqdfn2RUQv

I put out an update on my socials about an upcoming release so I thought you guys may get a kick out of it given the response from the first release.

The model will be a fully playable text-to-keybed exportable to any DAW with rich prompting / metadata. Ill also put together a longer video on how I did it for other researchers to replicate (training strategies and the like)
