Delhi NCR – Looking to rehome a few healthy community fish to an established planted aquarium

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to rehome a few fish from my 3-year-old mature low-tech planted (Walstad) aquarium. The fish are healthy and old now.... I'm simply moving towards a lightly stocked, more ecosystem focused setup since its hard to maintain this since im in college now.

Fish available:

  • 1 Siamese Algae Eater (its maybe 4in now)
  • 5 Platies (if someone wants the whole group)
  • A few older tetras (prefer to discuss depending on your existing schools) -2 cardinals,2 black pahntoms and a single ember tetra remain from my older schools... each of these are 2-3 years old atleast since i bought them then

I'm not selling them...I just want them to go to someone who:

  • has a mature, cycled aquarium,
  • understands the requirements of these species,

The SAE will eventually need a spacious aquarium, so I'd prefer someone who already has an appropriate setup.

Pickup preferred in Delhi NCR (i can porter it to you - it will be great if we can split/share that cost - open to negotiate). Please send me a photo or brief description of the tank they'll be going into.

I'd much rather they go to another hobbyist than a pet shop. PFA image of my tank

Thanks!

Vintage Mulco Moonphase - anyone has info about this brand?

This is my great-grandfather's old Mulco Moonphase watch. This was purchased probably in the 60s or the 50s. It was locked in a cupboard for a long time, and I just found it.

It's in partial working condition. it does have a self-winding movement, but it does not hold power for more than a few minutes. I showed it to a watch repair showroom. This was the only one in my city which did repair professionally and they gave a repair quote of close to $600 (once converted to USD). they wont alter/buff anything in the dial/case, they need to replace some parts of the movement which have been damaged or rusted heavily - the glass is cracked which needs to be replaced and a new strap needs to be put since this one has gone stiff.

So I was thinking if it's worth anything after the repair. I am not thinking of selling it, but was having second thoughts to put that much money into a watch which may not be worth anything. I really like the design of the watch, and I will definitely wear it if it's fixed.

Needed some advice if I should go on with the repair, and if I could get any idea on the reputation of this brand and how their watches were, even if somebody could give just a ballpark estimate of how much these watches are worth. Currently stored it in a airtight box with desiccant silica gel packets to prevent further rusting.

Thanks, and sorry for the shitty pics
