Can someone at Square please explain to me why I received a message from Square telling me that as of September 10th that the Square Premium plan I’ve had for 5 years is being automatically upgraded to….wait for it…Square Premium?
Is this some kind of Double Secret Probation Square Premium?
Real chefs, many young early career legends, in their kitchens using their equipment (some of it very, very, very well worn) making their signature dishes. An appetizer, an entree & a dessert every episode, always accompanied by smooth jazz and, of course, the velvet fog voice of Mary Lou Conroy.

Hi! A Colby student stopped in our Rockland shop. I asked her if a food trailer featuring donuts like ours would be popular on campus. She mentioned that the college actually hires trucks to come on campus and in effect distribute free eats that the college has already paid for.
Is this factual? And if so any ideas on whom to contact RE this? Thanks!

A Star Wars text crawl of Biscoff for the 4th annual Rockport, Maine Donut Festival we (Ruckus Donuts in neighboring Rockland, Maine) produced as part of an overnight 16 hour donuthon to be a vendor at this past Saturday.
This wasn’t even half of the Biscoff variety. My team is amazing.
Produced about 1000 donuts similar to these in style & finish. Sold the last one at 3:28pm. Interesting aside - a number of people called it the “airplane cookie donut”, which I thought was charming. Admittedly it was exactly that scenario that was my introduction to Biscoff cookies.
By the time my head hit the pillow Sunday evening (after opening the shop that morning post Festival) was at about 3 hours sleep in the previous 68.
But we did it..,
“Boy, that escalated quickly!”

So I went to pay a customer invoice today the same way I’ve done 100s of times before - with a check provided by my customer.
So use the same procedure I’ve used 100s of times before:
Add Payment > Remaining Amount > Other Payment Type > Check #
…and unable to. Says it’s already paid or partially paid. No it is not. No history on invoice of such, nothing in Transactions.
Decide to edit Invoice. Under Payment Methods Accepted there is NO option for cash or check, only digital transactions that (of course) Square get a cut of.
UPDATE: while typing this Square Support tried to replicate the same error…and succeeded. So it’s apparently on Square’s end.
So leaving this in case anyone else encounters the same issue. Per my CSR this issue has been given a “heightened level of attention”. It’s not you….
So there’s a hour of my life I’m not getting back. But at least I know it’s not me/user.
