Customers Please Please Please

Don’t spit your cherry pits throughout the store. If it grosses you out to spit your saliva covered seed back in your bag of cherries how do you think employees feel when they put their hand in an empty box and feel the wet hard ball touch their fingers. It’s so disgusting to just spit pits through out the store. Cherries are also a pay by the pound item which means when you eat them before paying that is technically theft. They are expensive and we operate under every cent counts rule. They are up our buts about 12 cent paper bags so you better believe cherry loss is important to them too. Please please please get a produce bag at the least and at the best wait till you get home so you can wash them. So many people have touched them and I’m sure they have hit the ground a few times. Thanks for being more considerate!

Elmwood ✨

Calcite, Sphalerite, and Micro Fluorite over Barium Celestine. I was fortunate enough to but this off the man that mined it himself. Super cool piece the point on the Calcite that looks like damage is actually a contact point. Top 5 favorite in my collection for sure.

Chocolate fire opal

These chocolate fire opals from Mexico are fun to cut and also a challenge they rarely come out no cracks. All the advice I’ve gotten says to seal them to prevent further cracking. I’m hard headed and want to do it untreated. Here is one that came out no cracks.

Edit: definitely not Mexican fire opal, thinking it definitely Ethiopian. 😅
