English Edition of Selina by Jean Paul?

Hello all,

I’m trying to find an English edition of the posthumous novel Selina by Jean Paul in preparation for a project I’m doing research for on Weltschmerz. It was published in 1827, and I can only seem to find German editions online. If anyone knows more information, that would be very much appreciated. Cheers!

Please help me

I need help tapering off this medication. My doctors do not know what they are doing and I am in so so so much distress.

So far I have been on this drug for two weeks, one week on 25, then going down to 10 because the side effects were debilitating. Still debilitating at 10. I stopped taking it two nights ago and have not been able to sleep for two nights. Evidently my body cannot handle stopping 10 cold, so how am I supposed to taper off? Please help me by sharing advice. Having horrible anxiety and insomnia. Nothing in terms of sleep aid seems to work. Help!!!

DO THIS

Rub your thighs when you’re in pain. Seriously. I started instinctively doing it and it works. The pain doesn’t go away, but it distracts your brain and gut from trying to kill each other. It brings me an hour of being symptom free after about 10-15 minutes of rubbing.

This condition fucking blows, I thought I was cured for a few years but it’s coming back. I just thought I’d share this thing that works for me in case others haven’t tried it. Hope you all are managing ok.

A great way to prevent sockets from breaking

Hello all,

I thought I’d share a method (maybe already known?) that I’ve been using for more than a decade to prevent pieces, specifically sockets, from breaking. Right before you’re about to connect something, just exhale a little bit on the socket. The slight warming of the plastic is enough to make it so it won’t break when you put the ball in.

I’ve been using this method since I got my first massive bulk hall almost fifteen years ago, and I’ve built close to sixty unique MOCs with exactly three breaks of any kind, all from that same haul. For those that are unaware, you have to be more careful with lime and brown pieces, as they tend to be the most brittle. I’ve just been seeing all these posts about broken parts, needing to order replacements, and 3D printing stronger alternatives, and I thought I’d share for anyone who doesn’t have the means to fix the problem that way. Obviously make sure to clean any parts well (nobody wants a germy Bionicle, especially if you’re selling)

Hope this helps! If people have their own methods of preventing breaks, please share them down below. Cheers.

Childhood Hero Team

I dug these guys out after many years of keeping them stuffed away in cases. They’re all easily over a decade old! They aren’t anything too flashy, but I have many fond memories playing with them when I was younger. Enjoy!

My version of Matoro as a cold-blooded killer. Heavy inspiration taken from the old stop-motion series by Masteryker on YouTube, but with MANY additions and liberties taken. Enjoy!
