Hi guys, I wanted to ask whether you follow a fixed upload schedule (same day and time every week) or just upload whenever a video is ready.

I’m asking because I’ve been following a strict upload schedule myself, but recently I’ve realized that it’s been affecting my content quality. I found myself focusing more on meeting deadlines and uploading consistently than on making the videos as good as they could be.

For those of you who have been doing YouTube for a while, what has worked better for you? Do you think sticking to a schedule helps, or is it better to upload whenever the content is ready?

Looking for a freelance video editor for a long-form True Crime YouTube channel (Hindi).

The content style is cinematic, suspense-driven, and heavily story-focused not generic documentary edits. I’m looking for someone who genuinely enjoys storytelling, understands pacing/tension, and can work responsibly with deadlines.
