Pemexetred+Ketruda side effects

I have been on maintenance with Pem every 3 weeks and Ketruda every 6 weeks for some months. I am dropping the Pemexetred.

Last infusion I got both, 2 weeks later had diarrhea, going on 7 days now.

Last time I saw my doctor, six days ago, I mentioned the one day of diarrhea, and she was very concerned and asked me more about it, if it was like the dry heaves. It wasn’t at that time, but it’s getting closer.

I have a call into my doctors office, but I don’t have much hope of hearing back in a timely fashion. I’m taking OTC meds and they have no effect.

Does anybody have any experience like this? Will it be better now that I’m quitting the pemexetred?

Savannah Fence Co

Is anybody else dealt with them recently? I put down a deposit a couple weeks ago, material was delivered 4 days ago.
They don’t answer the phone, return voicemails, or messages.
The material is blocking our driveway

Stopping maintenance Metatastic NSCLC

I was diagnosed with brain Mets November 1924. I had directed radiation for the brain, then it popped up on an adrenal gland and they started me on chemo. My memory is really bad so I can’t remember all the drug names.. I did four rounds of that now they have me on Keytruda every 6 weeks and penexetred every 3.

The one on my adrenal has been gone a little more than a year. The brain Mets are “dead” and shrinking.

The side effects of this last combined treatment left me with the morning dry heaves and constant nausea a week after. I don’t think it is as bad with just the pemexetred.

I’m down to 145 from 165 pounds

My “body” oncologist says I could stop either or both of the meds since I have been no active disease for quite a few months.

I’m already on just monitoring for the brain Mets.

Frankly it scares me to stop, but I realize I cannot keep going forever. But I’m a pretty tough guy and I’ll keep going as long as I damn well can whether it’s good for me or not.

Part two: I’m on Trad. Medicare. I got a second opinion at Dana Farber, which dictated my chemo treatments. I’m wondering if I could get back with them and see if that Doctor agrees without paying an arm and a leg. The initial second opinion was free.

Any input is welcome thank you

River Street Redevelopment

Does anyone know the scope of this project?
It is being funded by the hotel bed tax, which is now 8%.
One of the stated goals is to make River Street “easier to walk on”.
So we pay 60 million to pave over the cobblestones or something?

Are we gonna swap out the Stone Stairs of Death for an escalator?

Odd brown discoloration on River Birch leaves

It’s mainly just one portion of one main branch at this point. Also branch-lets dying off. I had a terrible infestation of white flies. Last year. They appeared to be borrowing into the bark.

I had the dead stuff trimmed off last ball, but there are more dead branches in the spring.

Intro and project photo

I have been working on this project off and on for years. I am a hobby machinist and this will be a model steam locomotive. It currently runs on compressed air and I have posted a question about boiler construction. I hope that is allowable.

I think the only castings in the photo are the wheels which I turned.
The rest of it is machined from steel and cast iron.

It is a model of a specific engine, I did the drawings and then made the parts. No CNC.

Splitting steel sched 40 and limiting “spring open”

Question: If I take a say foot of 8” schedule 40 steel pipe and spilt it open longitudinally (cut one lengthwise slot) it is going to spring open, and the diameter will be larger than original.

Will annealing with a rosebud before cutting reduce this distortion? What color?Any other suggestions?

I thought of a weld first cut opening second approach but that will be messy.

The split pipe has to weld to an 8” wrought fitting on one end and will have an end plate welded to the other end. No stiffeners other than stays mentioned below.

This is a boiler for a model steam locomotive, 325f 125 psi, need to open the pipe for a firebox.

Edit, the firebox itself and the outer 8” shell will be stayed with 1/2” rod every 2” square inches.
