Toddler is constantly miserable

I'm struggling right now. My wife and I have a toddler who is 2 years 8 months old. He was always such a good baby and good boy, funny and a joy to be around. About 2 months ago something changed and it seems like absolutely everything is a fight with him. Ask him to do something it's a scream "NO!". Tell him I'm doing something "no you aren't!". Try to do bath time with him which him and I have always done, screams at my for mommy. Hits me, bites objects in anger.

Tonight teeth brushing was a massive battle ended in him throwing the tooth brush across the room screaming bloody murder. Take him to his room fights getting his PJs on screaming thrashing around hitting me hitting mom. Me and my wife are both remaining calm. She is more of the gentle parenting mindset, which I'm not fully sold on but I'm doing my best to remain calm in these situations. I haven't always, I was on incorrect medication last year and had some temper tantrums of my own and am worried I've caused all this.

Back to tonight I'm trying to get his pj pants on he's fighting me I felt myself getting really mad and my wife caught it and said she could handle it. I walked outside picked up a object and threw it at my house damaging my vinyl siding. I can't do this anymore he has been absolutely miserable to be around. We do everything for him take him fun places, let him play and enjoy life when he is happy but as soon as something switches in him absolutely nothing makes him happy.

I'm debating making an appointment with our family dr to discuss it but my worry is she will laugh and say welcome to the terrible twos. I'm just worried something medically could be wrong? He is a very picky eater could he be nutrient deficient? I have had my own anger issues (never physical just get angry and loud) and I'm worried its all my fault. I don't know what else to do but ask for advice here.

Grouchy all the time

I'm a 38 year old man. I've had a temper my entire life that I can remember. I fly off the handle easily over little things. But besides my temper I was always a fairly pleasant and easy going person. Most people never saw my temper and thought I was a good guy. Now I have a 2.5 year old son who I love more than anything. Ever since he was born my mood changed drastically. I'm constantly grumpy. I feel like I struggle to be happy. I'm grouchy to my wife, kids, coworkers, customers, family. Everyone gets it.

My son is now getting into the toddler tantrum and whiney phase and I have no patience for it. My wife would like me to be more understanding of him and I really try but it gets under my skin and I get mad or grouchy. He is having trouble regulating his emotions, no wonder why his dad can't even do it. I'm supposed to be the role model and I'm failing miserably. Sometimes I think he would be better off without me in his life. I feel like maybe I'm causing his bad behaviours.

I am on celexa. A low dose currently, ive tried a high does it didn't make a difference. I've tried other anti depressants they didn't make a difference. I'm thinking maybe stopping anti depressants altogether to try that. My testosterone levels are good. I quit drinking I haven't had a drink in 6 months and prior to that I had a year sober with a little drinking before my current sober streak. I've been two two different counselors and it just feels like they are so rushed for their 30 min session with me nothing gets accomplished.

I really don't know what to do. I'm starting to hate myself and who I've become. I love my wife and son but I bet it's hard for them to love me. I'm a grouchy angry asshole. I can sense friends in my life drifting away. I feel like crying sometimes after I lose my cool or say something mean to someone. I know what I'm doing is wrong, I'm not oblivious I just can't control my mood or my emotions.

If anyone has any little bit of advice I would be so grateful. Thank you.

Question about EZGO starter generator

I have an EZGO workhorse. Unsure of year probably mid 90s. Robin engine. It died on my last night driving then starter wouldn't crank. Traced the wire from the pedal switch to a post on the reverse alarm. From there the positive wire went towards the starter solenoid and I found it broken off there but couldn't find where it actually attached to. I added a ring end and put it right to the battery positive. Cart works but it got me thinking what component stops the starter from cranking once the engine starts? I realize the starter becomes a generator at that point but what component switches it? Have I potentially caused the starter to crank constantly while the engine is running now?
