Selenite crystal from the Red River Valley, North Dakota (same general geographical location as the similar duckbill selenite crystals and selenite ball-clusters from the Red River Spillway in Manitoba Canada) ~•~ These crystals have light champagne hue under natural light, bright blue-white fluorescence under longwave uv, and lingering greenish phosphorescent afterglow when the uv light is turned off (shown here at the end of the video) ~•~ i'll add a picture in the comments of this piece under natural light

cluster of amethyst crystal points that grew on a fluorite crystal, from Akwana Deposit, Nigeria. you can see the fluorite from the bottom, but i didnt turn it over in the video. maybe i'll add a pic to the comments

the first two are the same cluster (shown indoors under lamp light in the second clip). the rest are various pieces shown in daylight. this fluorite shows natural blue color change in sunlight (daylight fluorescence)

unlike english fluorite, this madagascar material does not have twinned cube crystals, and the matrix is white. also the color change is not as strong.

there is always a lot of citrine discussion on this sub so i thought it might be helpful to show some untreated natural citrine. everything shown here is 100% natural - untreated - exactly as it came out of the earth. the zambia material could use some iron off but i've never used that stuff before so i haven't gotten around to trying. this is by no means ALL of the citrine localities that exist, but it's just what i had around the house and i was reading a comment by someone else that said all citrine is fake, or if it's real only the elite can afford it, which is not true ... so i thought it would be helpful to show examples of genuine untreated citrine for visual reference.
