First PC build, how does it look? Any glaring issues?

Finally had a day to put this together. Spent nearly 10 hours between planning, reading manuals, researching tutorials and assembling/wiring. Was fun but a bit stressful! Will be another week before I'm able to power it on (away for work), excited to have it built!

Big thanks to u/champagne780 and u/SmokeyGrayPoupon for helping answer questions I had early on.

Couple things I couldn't quite find definitive answers on: Do I need to use that bottom PCIe_PWR port on the motherboard? And I daisy chained the ARGB connectors for the 3 bottom fans to a single port, but have the PWM cables each in their own SYS_FAN port, is that fine? AiO pump to SYS_PUMP and radiator fans to CPU_FAN.

Anything that stands out as a potential issue? I know the pump is upside down, but it was in that orientation that the tubing had the least amount of tension. And I need to find some stickers for the hubs for those bottom 3 fans.

Any help or criticism is appreciated, thanks!

Hello! Building my first PC and would like some input/advice

Ive bought multiple pre-builts over the last 15 years. Currently have a Maingear built PC from 2020, which uses lots of MSI parts. The reliability, and look made me a fan of MSI.

Here is the rough parts list I've assembled:

MSI PANO 110R PZ

MSI A850GL PSU

MSI Z890 PZ Motherboard

MSI Ventus 3x RTX 5070Ti PZ GPU

MSI Coreliquid i360 AIO

Intel Ultra 7 270K Plus CPU

Crucial T500 2TB SSD

Kingston 16gb DDR5 RAM x2

Is there anything you'd change here? Is this a compatible parts list? I'm a bit intimidated by the idea of assembling my own PC, but most people say its a lot easier than you think. I want a somewhat future proof setup without spending outrageous amounts of money.

Quick searches showed Crucial and Kingston to be somewhat affiliated with MSI, is this true? And if not, are there other brands you'd use instead for an SSD and RAM?

Thanks in advance! Apologies if this breaks a rule, or has the wrong flair!

My first time in Zaton went well! Was greeted with a warm welcome xD

I love the M860 xD When that group of snorks first crossed my screen, I thought they were dogs because there was so many of them! The boars, rats and bandit at the end were just the icing on the cake.

New Stalker here

Hello Stalkers!

I've finally after many years crossed into the Zone.

Short bit about me and my relationship so far with the franchise/lore: Heard about it many years ago when the original games game out, but horror was never my thing and the games terrified me xD had always thought, game will be too scary, not for me, and paid it no mind.

Well, fast forward like two decades and I stumble upon the Tarkovsky film. The first night I watched it, I watched it twice in a row. I was completely enthralled. Anyways, I started watching Anomalous Dugout's lore videos since like two years now, and finally bought the game recently on sale. I'm about 25 hours in, and I'm just completely blown away by this game.

I've played all the "tactical shooters", all the ArmA games, Tarkov, etc. DayZ since the mod came out, and no shooter/survival/exploration game has hooked me like Stalker 2. While the movement/gunplay isn't as "modern" or complex as some other games, its pretty darn good and fun, for me. Plan is to just have fun with it for now, maybe finish the game (I'm notorious for not doing that), and then try mods in another playthrough.

I can appreciate that the game has its flaws, but to me they're all minor, and completely offset by how immersive, beautiful and detailed the game is. The voice acting, the story line, the music, its all just fantastic. Also, I have no prior connection to the previous games, so that makes my opinion a bit biased.

Anywho, just wanted to get my thoughts out there and share some screenshots from my adventure so far!

I've already had some of the most intense moments I've basically ever experienced in video games, too. For example xD 4 Bloodsuckers in the wide open! I stumble upon a group of Stalkers being attacked, and I'm like oh dang, this isn't good! Run up to them expecting a Bloodsucker. Welp, they all die and I'm left in the wide open surrounded by fucking FOUR. The trusty M860 did it's job, I changed my shorts and carried on... First Burer fight was lovely. Those little fuckers are tough! I made my way past a couple of those electrical anomalies that home in on you after multiple hair raising attempts, only to run straight into a Burer. Start taking fire from two AKs, it rips my shotgun from my hands, and I'm sent running and screaming like a bitch. xD I'm having so much fun being made a complete fool out of with each of the anomaly puzzles and ridiculous encounters.

I've been keeping in mind that line from the film: The Zone is a very complex maze, full of traps. All of them are death traps.

Attached pictures are kinda random. Last one is my current loadout at again ~25 hours. I'm doing Missions out of Slag Heap currently, trying to rebuild my funds.

Soviet Gun Crews Inspect Captured German 88

From a recent Dynamic Conquest playthrough. Going the infantry only route, just using Universal Carries and Scout Cars. Lots of fun at the end of defense missions running around hunting artillery pieces with infantry, and rounding everything up xD
