Tiny house metal cladding and rainscreen.

Having a hell of time trying to work out how to design a tiny house with a rainscreen and PBR metal siding.
Tried AI failed.
Tried ASC, not their wheel house. All manuals are without rainscreen.
Tried YT almost all videos have no rain screen and just slap the metal straight onto plywood or onto WRB.
No bueno.

I have sorted out most of it around window trims etc.
Elevated the planes on furring strips except for the window header flashing and the Top Plate metal terminations.
C6 trim and corners are good.

But I can’t figure out the details of the Z drip under the window.
Here’s a diagram of one option but I a concerned about water going down the sill tape and behind the vertical metal leg of the Z drip.
The other option is putting the vertical Z drip leg on top of the furring strips.
But that creates two channels and blocks the furring strips channel exhaust at the top.

Only Reddit can save me now.
Someone take pity and help me out.
Before I lose my mind.
Diagram enclosed.

PS: The PBR isn’t installed horizontally, it’s vertical. Artistic license displaying it in undulating waves.
Thanks to anyone willing to help. I am in a time crunch.

Edit: I could cut off the vertical leg against the WRB and that would stop the potential of getting water behind it and mist terminate the PBR with a single metal layer.

Thanks to whoever asked IF I still need a rainscreen if the PBR ribs allow enough airflow. It’s an interesting question. I thought I did for more airflow and to keep the metal off the WRB.
BUT now I doubt it. I rarely see it and that might be the reason?

Move, sudden Black out flashing after using colour once.

I was enjoying my new Move despite the bad battery, dim blue light, dark screen and back panel heat.

I mistakenly decided to use a blue title and suddenly full black out and flashing redraws started.
Damn there when my calm writing joy.
So I deleted the Blue title thinking it would return to easy scrolling with no redraws and occasionally screen flashes.

But much to my dismay. It flashes for everything now. It still thinks I have blue in the notebook. I tried everything rebooting, cursing etc.

There event my easy day of writing.
Then I find out this is a thing.
The Move gets stuck in heavy redraws and it’s either a defect or need software reinstall.

Can this be for real?
If it is. It’s going back to Best Buy tomorrow! Tia.

Remarkable MOVE noise?

I saw in a Move review the reviewer claim there is a COIL noise when the device renders the screen.
Is this true? I have been contemplating getting one but the idea of paying monthly was the big thing holding me back.
I don’t want features behind a paywall.

But was considering it since the price is low. So maybe?
But a COIL noise when rendering is a no deal thing.

Figuring out the cover differences.

I am trying to figure out what are the differences tween various covers to find the thinnest and most flexible ones.
I want to be able to easily carry it in pockets etc.
I see there is a PU version though none on Amazon.
And there are the more dense and fabric styles with graphics.
They look very stiff and with strong spines.

While they look better I want more flexibility.

Are the PU veriosn the most flexible? I think they have one style of that on the Hobonichi site.
How stiff and thick are the graphic versions with stringer spines.
They say somewhat flexible but they sure don’t look it.

Just found something called SMOOTH styles. I think they are the PU versions. All out of stock everywhere.

Then here are the MEMO pads, cheap but no weekly printing.
TIA looking forward to making some fun pages and posting them.

Viwoods reader cold light and notes.

So why would Viwoods only put a COLD light on the BW reader?
Everyone knows it’s the warm light we all need for our eyes.
Seems rather a counter success choice.

Another obvious product that needs to be created is a Remarkable MOVE type product.
Like a reader perhaps a but larger than a mobile that you can take NOTES on. A Warm light or no light.
That would take over the market in that category. I would buy that in a heartbeat.

But never buying a cold light only reader. I don’t like Remarkable but even then I had to work hard to not buy it.
It was extremely tempting, but Remarkables pay wall for synching your work is a NO GO.

A Viwoods 10.65 or larger with a keyboard case and a smaller MOVE style sized note taker would make Viwoods the top dog fast.
That’s the ticket to success. Any believers, or nay sayers?

Any news on the Viwoods putting out a keyboard cover?

With the iFLYTECH putting out a keyboard cover. Making it a good choice of E ink productivity work.
I feel like this is a major missing issue for E ink gaining more popularity and could be Viwood’s moment to surge forward in competition.
I have a Nomad and want an android E ink device with a keyboard cover for my productivity issues.

Viwoods is my choice over Iflytech. The 200 buck extra price with less storage and a monthly fee is a red flag for me.

So I am waiting on either a new Viwoods keyboard to come out. Though no pogo pins on the Viwoods to support that like the Manta and Iflytech. So maybe next cycle of new hardware?

Any news?

Nomad slick glass vs Manta plastic screen.

I own a NOMAD. I love using it BUT the glass screen is a little too slick for me. I sometimes get a death grip in my pen when I write too much on it. I heard the MANTA has a plastic screen and the writing feel is much better.
Is this true. Would it be worth it for me to switch to the Manta? Seems weird that they have different screens. Anyone know why?

Any insights are appreciated.

Viwoods and YouTube.

Ok hear me out.
I watch a lot of YT.
Yes I know eink is anti YT either by the inability to play videos or by the distraction free use of e ink philosophy.

But!
I watch a lot of YT.
And I want to watch it on an Eink.
I have a BOOX 3C note and it’s just awful. Dark screen, and slow, I can watch YT on it barely. It’s gotten better over the updates.

But surprisingly the Hibreak Mobile plays YT video a lot better. It’s good enough for me to watch the usual talking heads without issues.

But my other user case is AI use.
I use it a lot and want a typing input E ink to use with AI.

I have a Nomad and that’s the slowest of all units.

So I have settled on the Viwoods as my next big white hope.

Anyone seen video examples of Viwoods playing YT videos? Is the CPU fast enough? I don’t need colour. I prefer the whiter screen of the Viwoods over other units.

TIA.
