Blood Brothers

A few sexy Blood Bros I drew today. The Frankensteins are definitely among my favorite vampiric antagonists! Just Sense8 if directed by David Cronenburg, tbh!

Happy pride, everyone! 🏳️‍🌈

Vanara

Another concept art piece for the Thousand Cults of Indus, a homebrewed faction for Trench Crusade.

"Countless noble beasts have been butchered wholesale by the thralls of the Great Enemy, and the sacred groves left pillaged in their wake are mourned by the folk of Indus as deeply as any conquered city-state. Fallen animals honored with the rites of forced reincarnation are uplifted into Vanara, in recollection of the divine apes of the sagas. Though rebirth knits their wounds and expands their consciousness, they remain as scarred as the ravaged lands they bitterly seek to avenge."

Sepoys

Another concept art piece for the Thousand Cults of Indus, a homebrewed faction for Trench Crusade.

"Sepoys make up the rank-and-file of the autonomous warbands, conscripted from across the realms and city-states of Indus. Separated by a staggering diversity of regional customs, beliefs, and even languages, one can find any number of charms and religious icons within the same unit, and every battle is certain to be followed by heated debates regarding which gods or ceremonies were responsible for the day's victory or defeat."

Dakini

Concept art for the Thousand Cults of Indus, a homebrewed Trench Crusade faction.

"Dakini are masterworks of forced reincarnation, stitched from martyred warrior women dragged from No Man's Land to create earthly vessels worthy to house the handmaidens of the Mahavidya. Once manifested in physical form, the dakini are as awe-inspiring as they are horrifying to witness on the battlefield. Dancing upon mounds of corpses, they are driven by an entrancing fury and an insatiable thirst for the blood of demonkind."

Jemadar

Concept art for a homebrewed Trench Crusade faction, the Thousand Cults of Indus.

"Veterans of decades of service and dozens of forced reincarnations, jemadar are the field commanders of the confederated warbands of Indus. Despite their vast military experience, their true value lies in the hard-won bonds of brotherhood they have forged across the the city-states over their careers; a jemadar is among the few individuals with the knowledge and respect necessary to unify the fiercely independent warriors of the Thousand Cults against their common foe. Their wargear includes mismatched armor, icons, and keepsakes from countless campaigns and unlikely alliances, covering a patchwork of ruinous scars inherited from their grueling, artificial rebirths."

Been hammering away at my Court warband. Still have a bunch of wretches to paint, and waiting on some 3D prints for a few yolk fiends!

Praetor: Scaled-down "Archdevil Malakar" from Flesh of Gods, with tail and gun kitbashed from various GW bits.

Knights & Wretches: Infernal Knights and Tortured Thralls by "Apply Scale," with a few kitbashed helmets and arms from Sir Nicholas Miniatures' "Knights of Hell," GW hobgrots, and the "furious fibian" helm by Studio_Sol_Union.

Hunstman: GW Exalted Hero of Chaos, with base helm bit by Sir Nicholas and various GW bits to assemble the flesh-bow.
