Thinking about a change in Career

Hi, I'm 27 years old and currently work for USPS but I'm m thinking about going down the EMT/Paramedic path to eventually become a Firefighter. Only thing I currently make 53k as a mailman and get around a 1,500 bump every year guaranteed because its a union job. My biggest thing though is that I do wanna pursue this as a career but I have to be realistic with finances, my age, and considering I live in Southern California. Im also open to going down the forest fighting side but either way this is something I truly want to do but I'm afraid I may be better off with the income I make at my current job and just sticking with it. I'm afraid it maybe to late for me

Package Lost?

I sent out this package back in May 13th and as of today on June 5th the box is stuck on a scan that says out for delivery. I sold a package on Ebay and picked surepost cause it was cheaper, not knowing that it is the slowest and most unreliable service I could've used. Now im here stressing cause I have to get this resolved in a few days and fedex customer service is useless. Ive put in a claim 2 days ago and still no update. And there's no way for me to talk to the Middletown CT hub directly. Any advice? Im losing hope here

Looking to buy

Looking to buy

Im looking to buy a second generation scion tc to just be a point A to B car, with the occasional long trips to yosemite and vegas. With the economy being rough right now im willing to buy one with a high mileage of 170k to even 190. My question is if im taking too much of a risk in buying one with that high of a mileage.
