State of the game

I used to love this game a long time ago. Hopping on a server and getting the full survivor experience in a short session was fun. Then the influx of players from the battle royale mode seemed to promote cheats that carried over to the main game. The popularity coincided with my experience on public servers. I went from about 50-50 friendly to hostile interactions to just hostile, so I quit playing.

I tried again maybe a year ago and everything was dead or russian. Has anything changed since?

Dispute Restaurant after Food Poisoning

We ate at a chain restaurant where the food and drinks were terrible. We contemplated leaving, but it was late and we hadn’t eaten all day. Later that night, we both end up sick with stomach issues. I called the restaurant asking for a refund on the $70 check and the manager told us refunds were not their policy.

I plan to dispute the charge on Chase, has anyone had similar success? It’s probably more effort than it’s worth, but I hate the idea of paying for that awful experience.

Barber was late, then scoffed at no-tip

I had an appointment and the barber walked in 10 minutes late. The haircut was $35 which is expensive for a 20 minute haircut. After he was done, he prompted for a tip and I said “No thank you.” He looked up and said “Oh WOW, really? Was it not good?”

I just replied that I had to get back to work. I do normally tip, but didn’t think it was appropriate today. Now, I don’t think I’ll ever tip there again.

I hate that I feel like the bad guy, but this is the business model THEY chose. They can’t be mad at me for the outcome. I also hate that next time they could retaliate.

I was excited to get coffee afterwards but I felt so bad I just went home. This is the worst.
