Is it me or is Shyv top now more popular than how it was before the rework

Pro presence.
Druttut plays her a lot and saying that he enjoys playing her.
and a lot of those times get a youtube video or secondary game
And a high chance you find him playing her if you open his stream

around 10% playrate too
What else am I missing

like not foreseeing this with a kit like that and a cool looking champ
and butcher the passive by and making it this jungle-gating is weird

All your damage is through autos and one ability (Q)
compared to pre-rework, where you had the burnout aura and bonus on hit scaling with AD
and the mark on-hit damage scaling with AD
It's all clamped up into one ability now
which may be good in terms of balancing and differentiating the two styles since each would have one main ability that's different from what the other style's main ability is...

But I mean, you get true damage on dragon form, and the champ gameplay is highly based on auto-attacking, which is consistent with who she was before

But now to the cost...
to serve this playstyle with the necessary utility that's indeed needed with the speed up and self-shielding from W
and the long range slow from E

these 2 abilities, with their current forms, feel like they can't be as consistent in damage as the Q is in both human form and dragon form

So, for example, W is already overloaded with the speed up, shielding, and burst of damage
You can't add anything to that because that's plenty already on one ability
And that ability is too short range for you to not need to auto attack as well, which is the ad playstyle part too

And it can't do all of those things and also have an explosion range that's larger than what it is now, because in its design, its flames guarding Shyvana, it can't be anything but short range

And as for the E, it's the needed long-range slow to give AD Shyvana the chase and stickiness power she needs, as she doesn't have any dashes beside the one time R or resets

But with that slow....

Apparently, you can't make it pass through minions in human form...
And you can't load any bonus effects like a burn or a prolonged scorched ground, or even be low damage low CD ability to serve the ap bruiser style.. because it has a slow on it... so your only way to give it AP power is through the explosion damage ap ratio since that won't affect the AD gameplay

In a mid ranged ap bruiser fantasy, the E needed to have a range like Camille W or rumble Q more than it is like a Vel'Koz or Xerath range type ability now.
And that ability, you could make to have lower CD, lower damage, make it apply an effect all you want
But then AD Bruiser wouldn't have the long-range chase-slowing ability

And unfortunately, I remember seeing a rioter recently rank different builds in terms of power, and an AP Bruiser was ranked last
And the upcoming nerf to the CD on one of the main damaging abilities for AP bruiser just says that this playstyle is not of any high priority to serve...

I want a VGU, a midscope where some stuff are tweaked, and others are changed entirely

IMO I feel like being an assassin doesn't fit her thematically, so gut that entirely
She's a close-range fighter with a bird as her companion
And all she can do to people is blind auto and flip away to a predictable position from her enemies
Why can't she fly circles around people or ride Valor mid-combat like the cinematic
I remember seeing early footage of Smolder and his E, which is him flying around, had a Quinn ability icon, and I remember getting mad because why did he get that, and Quinn is stuck with a straight line forward and back targetable dash.

So if there were to be 2 builds for her, they should be crit attack speed, and a fighter/spell caster build like Ezreal's and Smolder's with Shojin, where valor is more involved and does more things more frequently

Another Idea I had is to make R taxi and something more after exiting that taxi, and give it a long cooldown

So she was previously a shape shifter like Nidalee and Jayce. How about we make R be something like Gnar, Shyvana, or Swain R, where it empowers her for a duration, and it has a rundown mechanic like fury and a long cooldown

And that R empowers your abilities so you get Valor more involved in your combat gameplay for a longer period of time
Like the cinematic where Valor picks up Quinn and flies her away mid-fight
something where Valor and Quinn really do things together, over a long period of time
something like alternating attacks, each is from one of them, and each has a special effect.
abilities having lower cooldown, cooler effects, and less damage, so we see valor more often

think an effect applied first time you hit an ability and Valor does something to an enemy applying an effect, and if you hit it again against the same target, it does a new thing

like Seraphine E and how it's empowered via slows and her passive double casts

And I believe feel like birds and hawks hunt like this, they hit one, apply slight damage, second time round it's more deadly

And this is my fantasy for Quinn.

So imo the jungle role just takes away everything that's bad about her R in lane

things like "roam must succeed, or I just lost a wave or 2 for nothing."
and "Is this a good timer to roam?"
and "can I reset after the roam because my R costs 100 mana at level one and I have no way to regen it" or "If I get back to lane, I must only try and get exp and gold cuz I lost so much mana pressing R twice in that roam"

While in jungle, you can just try and ping the team to engage way before you're even close and the risk in that play is very minimal

I think this will be an eye-opener for them, where a VGU might get on the menu

So I was genuinely sitting around doing nothing

And then I got mad when I remembered the current E and how you can't aim the fireball explosion on dragon form.
So you might be fighting a melee champ or a dragon or a baron on dragon form, and then fire this weird ability where its sweet spot is at its max range while you're dueling a melee champ or monster, where the fireball is outside the pit completely. so bizarre.

And then I remembered that her E used to be a cone??
And this same version of Shyvana had the W leave a trail of fire in dragon form, kinda like singed??

and then in patch V6.23
Flame Breath:
Revised Dragon Form: Shyvana can now input a target location/maximum range.

I can't believe this exact issue was there at a certain point in time, and then they added that you can input a target location...

and believe it or not, E's mark on-hit max health damage
Also used to be a boring number with absolutely no scalings on it for a very long time
like the current 5% on E

Before they added an ad ratio for it at patch V13.14

Do you guys think they look at the champ's history and get inspiration from it .. (to do the weird design things again LOL)

Or are they completely clueless to this history of similar issues and similar changes..

Grasp, Shield Bash and W max first felt amazing for me

And I bet there could be a Deathfire touch with shield bash as a secondary rune variation too.

How have your fellow shyv top connoisseurs been holding up?
